About
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers four 18-hole, championship courses designed by three renowned architects. Raven Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was carefully carved through marshes, native wetlands, and towering pine forests. Jones created a layout that is hailed for being both modern and traditional. It is also notable for how it seamlessly flows into the surrounding nature. The golf course offers plenty of variety both in shot options and visual scenery. The diverse holes are accented by dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the landscape. Water comes into play frequently and there are a number of strategically placed sand traps. Golfers are presented with a myriad of different ways to play each hole, which means thoughtful strategy is a necessity. The golf course's large, undulating greens also make proper club selection essential.

Very nice round
Windy and chance if storms, but we were lucky they didn’t develop. Course was wet, however, so range was closed, and cart path only slowed our pace of play. Course was otherwise in very good shape. We did have issues with a couple poor pin placements (#12 specifically, on side of slope where ball wouldn’t hold within several feet), and longer tee boxes weren’t available. Apparently this was done to prevent damage to other boxes/placements to be used for an upcoming Korn Ferry event. All in all we had a very good time!

Rude pro shop staff
We played the course 3 times this week. The condition was very nice and pace of play was excellent. The staff was rude, short snd make you feel as though you are bothering them every time you walk into the pro shop. Never felt more unwelcome in a pro shop

Five some
There was a five some in front of us. We told the clubhouse at the turn and they told us “we allow five somes”. Took 3 hours to play the back nine as they never let us play through.

Beautiful Day - Excellent Track
Awesome staff treated us very nicely. Nongolfing Wife rode with me. They charged us $22 which seemed a little much as most courses let her go for free. Course is getting ready for korn ferry tournament so greens seemed slower than a premium course should be. All in all a great day.

Excellent Course loved it
This is one of my new favorites on 30A. The course was very well manicured. The course is preparing for the upcoming Korn Ferry tournament next month which might have something to do with the excellent conditions. I loved the course. It's not your typical same old same course where every hole is the same as the next hole. Tree lineage and water throughout the course but it was awesome. Five Stars all day long. I can't wait to play this again. Not real hard either just perfect

Terrible staff
We called ahead to let them know we had taken a wrong turn, but we ended up being right on time. Pro shop told us when we got there that we could still go straight to the first tee. As I was about to tee off the starter came up and pulled the 2 of us off the tee and told us that another party would be going ahead of us even though the other twosome was not even there yet. Tried to go to the range to pass the next 30 min but the pro shop rudely stated that the range was closed. At the turn, the concession stand was closed. At 1pm. No lunch for us. Didn’t run into the drink cart again until the 16th hole. Course was in good shape, fun course to play. But there are tons of those. Not playing this one again.

Great Trac
The staff was friendly, the course was in amazing shape. Greens rolled true, the bunkers were generous.

There was a. Very grumpy man editing pace of play at hole 2-we were there with family having a wonderful time and he just darkened our game. There was no need for him to be there. Otherwise the course was beautiful.

Vacation golf
First time playing here-was paired with a 3 some from California and we had a great time. Course was in excellent condition and very playable. Lots of challenging holes. Really enjoyable and will have some valuable local knowledge next time.

Nice course
This course was fun and challenging. Not too long, and could run thru some clubs vs going driver wedges on par 4s. The greens were fast and solid. Not too much in the way of restaurant / bar, but that wasn’t what we were looking for.
