About

Holes 18
Type Resort
Par 70
Length 6148 yards
Slope 125
Rating 69.0

The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

This is a cheap-end resort golf course, and that's fine. The greens were in horrible condition, and that affects play. The tee boxes, which don't affect play that much, were in pretty ratty shape, and that just seems lazy and parsimonious.

This place was in MUCH better condition last time I played it in 2019. Too bad.

Overall, it just looked sloppy; take it or leave it. So, my reaction is "meh."

Not worth the cost to play here. No green grass on tee boxes. Fairways were all dead as well. Then help outside so oh they are not putting any money into it as getting all replaced by condos. In the heart of Destin Fl with plenty of other courses around

Great Layout Poor Conditions

If you want to work on your bunker shots this is the place for you. Sand can be found everywhere(bunkers, fairway, greens and even tee boxes). If they put any money in the place it would be a great course.

Rough shape

Back in the day this was likely a great course. We enjoyed the layout, but conditions were pretty sad. See picture of the green. There were 2 greens (roadside) that looked fine, the rest had spots as bad as this, but not the whole green. This one was almost unplayable.

For $69 at 8:00 AM on a weekday, I think we could have spent an extra $50 and had a better experience at a neighboring course. We weren’t sure what to expect, this one did disappoint, but the staff was friendly and the beers were cold!

Greens and tee boxes are a joke

Embarrassing as a condo owner in the community that this golf course is associated with Seascape. Not sure why better course management isn’t in place. Could not be that expensive to at least make tee boxes and greens playable. Not worth even trying to putt.

Poor condition, but worked for us.

As many other reviews say, the course is in bad shape. Many of the greens have dead spots and crusty black areas.

But, this was a nice course in its day, and a fun layout.

It worked for us, we had some beginning golfers and played a scramble.

Rough

Course was in extremely rough condition. Half the greens were bare dirt. Was a lady walking a dog on the back 9 and not cleaning up after it. Stepped in dog crap. Same hole had a bunch of people playing frisbee who refused to move for 10 minutes. Not worth what we paid by far

Do not play here.

Tee box: . No grass at all, only filled with weeds. So teeing up with irons becomes a problem, because the weeds are overgrown.

Fairway: u won't call it a fairway. Even an animal pasture is better than this place. When I consider d amount of rain that falls in Florida, fairways should be in prestine shape all year round. But that's not the case here. There were patches everywhere. Had too many weeds. There was no difference btw roughs and fairways.

Bunkers: there is sand in them. But they also have weeds.

Greens: nothing to write home about. Worst condition u could imagine.

Cost. This is a fraud. I wanted to go back after hole one to request a refund. I won't pay $10 or play a free here ever.

Good for the money

Course needs maintenance. That said, the staff was great and it was a fun time. Some challenging holes and the pace was great.

At least the cart guy was cool

Forced to play this course out of proximity, available tee times, & price. Plan ahead! Work an extra shift, and pay the $100 for a round somewhere else. If St.Andrews & Whistling Straits had a dysfunctional golf course baby, and left it in the Sun for 429 days, this would be it. Would play it again........Maybe for the $29.99 hot deal ONLY because I like to play whenever wherever. But it definitely made the list of my all time top 10 Crappy Courses. Sorry Cart guy.

NOT worth the price of admission

I played the course through golf now for apx $15.00.

it is robbery and a crime the course is allowed to take people's money for the lack of committment to make the course playable. the owners should be prevented from representing the game of golf.. they give the game of golf bad representation!

the owners should be embarrased at the product they are presenting to paying customers who obviously respect and enjoy the game of golf.
