Indian Bayou Golf Club

This is one of the nicest facilities I’ve ever played. I’m not a big spender when it comes to golf, but GolfNow/Groupon always helps when I’m on vacation. I paid around $80 for a round at Indian Bayou opposed to spending $150 for a regular rate round. I more than got my money’s worth. Greens had just been verticut and sanded around 2 weeks ago and rolled probably at a 10.

Fairways, greens, and sand traps were all groomed to perfection. Divots take easy as opposed to other courses being dry. This facility is very well maintained and groomed. Very friendly staff as well. They always make sure to pick me up at my vehicle and always load, unload, and clean my clubs. (That’s not a luxury I’m use to being from Norteast Georgia.)

Indian Bayou is a well conditioned golf course. The fairways were really cut well! Before my round of golf began the staff went out of the way to find me a double cart so my wife and son could have plenty of room. I was able to take off early with the ok from the starter. The only gripe I could possibly have during my experience is the fact that I needed to purchase brand new golf balls as my rental clubs did not have any. My personal score would be 4.4/5. Had a great time.

Very scenic with nice green pine tree lined fairways. The course layout sets up for a draw on the majority of the holes. There is water which can't be seen from the tee on several holes, but it is just a short section in most cases. The fairways are decent in width, but a stray shot off to the side into the trees is not playable and in most cases a lost ball. Bermuda grass fairways and greens. It was pretty windy when I played. On a calm day, I feel that this course could yield multiple birdie chances. Nice course and I would love to play it again. It would have been nice if a beverage cart had come around.

Everything was awesome! Course was a pleasure to play and in great shape! Greens were true and fair.

Don’t miss a chance to play this course if in the area who won’t be disappointed! Will definitely be back

Booked a round here on a whim and am very glad I did. My wife and I played 18 on a Sunday afternoon, and course was in great shape and a good challenge without being overwhelmingly difficult. Pace of play was amazing - I think we got around in 3 1/2 hours, and it didn’t feel like we were going particularly fast. Greens were fast but fair to good shots, and will definitely play here again the next time I’m at the beach!

Perfectly conditioned course, challenging but not cruel! I played on my 69th birthday and they offer a red white tee combo that keeps it fun!

A wide open feel in the layout and overall consistency was truly impressive. A very challenging layout from the more forward tees with my distance and fun.

I thought the course was in very good shape. The layout is fun, several holes offer some risk/reward shots. I would definitely recommend to friends and look forward to playing again.

Greens were very slow and bumpy. Have not healed from aeration
