About

The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Great course

Really like the course only my fifth time playing it and it’s become my favourite in the valley.

Couple of things for course feedback two gentlemen (2 separate times) behind the counter could be more welcoming versus jumping to telling… don’t go out until it’s your teetime. Make sure you double up with another single in the cart. Firstly good day how are you? Thanks for coming out, and then say couple things to note please check in with starter, as well we don’t allow three carts in one group so please double up.

The course is in mint shape and a great layout. I drive 50 minutes each time I play and it’s well worth the drive.

Best value I've found for the time of year

Let me start off by saying I last played Continental paying the same price as Aguila. Absolutely no comparison, Aguila blows that place out of the water. Best place to play for under a 100$ by far, can't say enough good things about it. Pace of play way spot on, teed off at 1000 and paired with 3 random and still played in 4:15. Course was in great shape considering the lack of rain, greens were solid running around 10. Would play again.

This is a challenging and well manicured course with reasonable green fees. Highly recommended for a relatively inexpensive but great game. Enjoyed it thoroughly. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
