Aguila Golf Course
About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Golfer Reviews
Preoccupied forgetfulness
6 men lined up in front of the counter gentleman asked coworker to help comes out of back office and the line now up to 8 line splits office guy says there's a 1 hour delay but there's a couple cancellations we should be able to get you out sooner WE WILL CALL we go out putt and hit some wedges 45 minutes go by haven't heard a speaker or anyone calling I go up to the counter and the back office guy says you can go out now

*TELL GOLFERS IF YOU BEND OVER TO TEE UP * ⛳️ BEND OVER TO FIX BALL MARKS + DIVOTS ON THE GREENS 💚 so tired of paying these rates for bad marked up greens 💚 😴 🙄 C'MOM GOLFERS - BEND
Best public course
One of the best public golf courses in Physical area.
Always in great condition. Practice areas are great.
Also their 9 hole course is wonderful for short game practice
Great condition
The course is in great shape, great layout and the greens are fast.
Not as good as shape as in the past. Greens were pockmarked.
Pretty far out from east valley
Easy to find but traffic getting there was not good we came from Mesa. Check in easy. Carts good but course programmed to only let carts go certain places. We were not smart enuf to run cart computer for course. Starter. Nicely got us thru one group to our group because we were slightly late. Tees good. Fairways consistently pretty nice roughs pretty consistent bunkers soft and playable quite a few walkers for such a long course. Greens very nice and putt nicely but lots of ball marks unfixed. Found course to be generally pretty long even from gold tees. Played in 4:25 mid day. Parking good. Can’t take carts to car. Course may be less than desirable if not hitting ball fairly well
Great muni
Got a good deal on golfnow, less than $50.00. Course in excellent shape both fairways and greens on par with some of the higher end courses. Pace of play was a little slow 4 hr 15 min. No marshall on course but there was a starter. Water on some of back nine holes made it a little more interesting. Fairways fairly wide which helps my game. Some great views of mountains and picturesque holes. Would return in future.
First Time
Great track
Live the layout, very scenic. Silver play pretty long.
Definitely would play again
Nothing flat about the greens so be prepared
Nice greens
Warm area is nice
Great play
This is a great track to play in really good condition. Greens are awesome. Practice facilities next to none. Will play again
Great Value
Course is in great winter conditions. Greens rolled really well and were decently quick. Tee to green very well maintained. Never saw a Marshall and it did get a bit slow at times. But we did finish in appropriate time overall. Not sure if a Marshall would have made any adjustments but may have been able to make a comment about pace. Carts are nice and have gps and Bluetooth speakers built in. Highly recommend visiting Aguila
Very frequent, budget friendly, Single digit handicap golfer. Can trust this review. Lol
Nothing special.
City Course. Nice but definitely nicer around this area. Good course if you have this “phoenix pass” but if visiting I would go elsewhere.
