Aguila Golf Course

For a city course I was totally surprised how fun it was. Go. Play.

Aguilla GC is a great facility and a pleasure to play. Layout is challenging and interesting. Surroundings are beautiful and relatively peaceful. Staff are accommodating and helpful. Snack bar is ok but last draft beer I had there was not cold so think their keg system may have needed servicing. Otherwise ok. I love the course though.

The overall condition of the course was good especially for this time of year. greens were a little bumpy from aerating but not terrible should be perfect in a week or so.

Course was not in good condition, greens and fairways had been aerated so were not very good.

Can't beat the city courses in the valley they are the well most best maintained courses overall.

All of the employees are very respectful professional and courteous thanks for all the hard-working grounds crew your hard work is much appreciated

Grass. Lots of it. For under $40 that has been a hard thing to find for the last few weeks. Compare to Dobson or Ken McDonald at this price point and Aguila is much, much better. The greens were still a little slow and rough from a recent aeration but I estimate they will be all healed in 1-2 weeks.

The pace of play was pretty terrible for the first 12 holes. (We were stacked up 2 groups deep on 5 and then again on 10, with long waits on every tee box.) I was in no hurry so I tried not to let it bother me much but the threesome I was playing with bailed at the 13th tee due to all the waiting in the hot sun. Ironically, pace of play sudden sped up dramatically from then on. The ranger must have finally moved a slow group forward a hole or two in front.

Good value and layout. Definitely will play it again!
