About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

One of my favorites in PHX
Always enjoy this course. True desert course. Love the layout. A little rainy on the day we played but I forgot to reserve a dry day. 9 and 18 were cart path only but that’s the nature of the timing. Over all still love this course and recommend it. The only draw back was the morning tee times for the public was nonexistent…so I changed the itinerary so we could atilll play the course.

Great public course
This course is in great shape and will test your skills. Its very clean, staff is friendly and practice facilities well maintained.
Great mix of length of holes and elevations. If you keep the ball in play pars and birdies are possible any mistakes and you pay. Plenty of sand in bunkers and water to make you think. Excellent views of mountains. Love this course.

Great Condition and Great Value!
Course was in fabulous condition after being over seeded only a few weeks ago. Great value for the money, one of the best in town. Staff were super friendly and helpful, will play here again.

Great shape after over-seed
Fresh grass everywhere and the greens were smooth and rolling fairly quickly. Cart path only for now to be followed by a few days of 90deg, I assume, but the pace of play was pretty good on a Tues afternoon. This is my favorite Phoenix muni course and it is in great shape right now!
