About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

What a great course!
Even though you have to drive through a somewhat undesirable area to get to the course, it's worth it. Course is in great condition, tee to green. Worth every penny! A Bargain in fact.

Wow what a great municipal course
With green fees this year thru the roof in Phoenix I played this course with friends who have the city card. Got a smoking deal $50 including cart and the conditions of this course were excellent which is my first condition when raring a course.
The layout was excellent with differing holes at every turn. Well designed. Greens were best I’ve played in 4 rounds in Phoenix so far.
Pace was great, staff were friendly so nothing but great things to say. This would be $200 and up if private.

One of my favorites in PHX
Always enjoy this course. True desert course. Love the layout. A little rainy on the day we played but I forgot to reserve a dry day. 9 and 18 were cart path only but that’s the nature of the timing. Over all still love this course and recommend it. The only draw back was the morning tee times for the public was nonexistent…so I changed the itinerary so we could atilll play the course.
