About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

I love playing at Aguila! Course is in good shape. Some times it plays a bit slow but still love it.

Course was in awesome condition for time of year. Pace of play was good would go back in a minute. Greens were good but if cut rolled could be faster.

Very slow play. Need marshalls out on course
There wass someone on the course teaching their friend how to play. She was hitting the ball 5 yds! OMG... the course backed up 4 holes and we finally called the pro shop to have someone came and move things along. That didn't work well and there were 4 groups waiting on 11 to play on! It was well over 5 hours to play 18 holes.

Great Muni Course
First time playing here and all the good things I heard about this course are correct! Really pretty and I don't recall any houses nearby. Tucked next to South Mountain so we had some great views. Fairly open course however still some challenging spots. The greens can undulate but very playable. I was a single however I was paired up w/some cool folks so had a great time (being a rando can be tough). This course is good for all skill levels and you don't need to hammer the ball to get a good lie. Considering it was summer, the course is in great shape. Very few brown spots or hard pan. Can't wait to go back!!

Greens & fairways
Course is in great shape. Fairways cut shorter. Rough nit too high. Greens had been aerated and sanded, but rolled true and a good speed. Price definitely affordable. Will play it again soon

Excellent course for the money
The course was in pristine condition in the middle of July which is unheard of! It is now one of our favorite go to courses.

Never disappoints
Great layout and well maintained course- especially for the money! Only criticism is with the excessive summer heat; it would be nice if they put drinkable water coolers on some of the holes. They do have fountains, but they are a bit suspect. Make sure to bring plenty of your water.
