About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Great conditions
Booked a 10am tee time and paid $30. Course was green and full of trees. Great conditions and the up keep is very good. Many tricky holes and must hit to the right spot into the greens. Greens were slow but not too bad at all. Front 9 is tough from back tees. Overall great experience and will definitely play again.
A Very Solid Track!
A golf snob who is a hack may snub their nose at this muni, but it is a good track with great layout that will test anyone's game. Protected greens and well placed fairway bunkers.

Great afternoon at terrific course
I had heard that Aguila was a nice course and I'm glad to say it was actually nicer than I expected. The whole course is green. The fairways were amazing and the greens are fully recovered from aeration. The layout was fun and long from the silver tees, over 6400 yards. One of the best values around. Will definitely be back

Greens have finally screwed up after aeration fairways are lush and soft it's just a shame that some people don't have the courtesy to rake the bunkers when they're done as you see their footsteps they almost have to walk over a rig to get out of the trap but can't spend the time to actually rake it.

Great golf course! Terrific layout, beautiful fairways and bunkers. The greens are still suffering the effects of aerification and we're very bumpy and slow. Can't wait to come back once the greens have recovered!

Punched greens but everything else was very good
The greens were arrated on 6/6 and were still recovering so they had lots of holes and very sandy. But that's totally normal and they were rolling true. So not that big a deal.
Everything else was in pretty good shape.

Love this course!!
We played the big course on Monday May 23rd and the twosome in front of us was the slowest two golfers I have ever been behind in 65 years of playing golf. They held up the entire course and added at least an hour to our round. In my opinion they should have been taken off the course, or moved to the par 3, although they would have held everyone up over there too!! Love the course!! Hated the wait in the heat!!
