About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Friday golf fun!!
Course was in great shape. They were aerating the greens, but they were still in good shape and held a good shot.
Only downer was the pace of play. We had a couple foursomes in front of us that were not moving very fast causing us to wait on a lot of shots.

Great Value
When you play 18 holes you can also play the exec course for free. Great to be able to warm up on an actual short course before the round. No electric carts are allowed on the exec course. Staff was very friendly and the course was in good shape for this early in the season.

Another Round at Aguila
This course is so much fun to play. It is in good condition for a municipal course. The golf course staff seems to be more engaging lately. We will definitely play it again.

Pleasantly Surprised
We will definitely play this course again. It was very nice. We have golfed numerous courses in Phoenix, down to Tucson, including Tucson. As everyone knows, when it is baseball season, prices go way up. This was the month of April. The fee we paid was well worth it. Out of all the courses in PHX, the very good ones are VERY EXPENSIVE. Thus, this course is well worth the .price .

Aguila Again
We truly enjoy this course. It is tough but fair and has some really great holes. The pace of play has been and continues to be a problem. There is no reason for that to be a 4 + hour round of golf.

Good Value
Short par fours slow pace a little but not a big deal. Sand seemed a little thin but great value for the money. Good layout. Strenuous but walkable.

Played it since inception
Have always enjoyed this public layout ! Co diction has improved every year like most courses.
Staff has always been friendly and efficient.
I live 45 minutes from this course, wish it was closer but once there good value , excellent layout and well worth the drive. !
