About
The Par-3 Course at Aquila is a perfect complement to the original championship course at the facility. Although the nine-hole course is easier, it still has a unique and challenging design. Conveniently located just outside of downtown Phoenix, the golf course offers an affordable option for golfers to work on their short game. Numerous bunkers and native grass roughs add some interesting elements to the game. The serene desert landscape also provides majestic views of the Estrella Mountains and the downtown Phoenix skyline. The course has two teeing areas per hole as well as driving ranges and practice greens.

We booked through Golf.com and the price was excellent.
Not much water and not very scenic but the value was great,we just arrived from Canada so it was a great warmup for us and hopefully we will improve.
Go Aguila
Our 1:45 tee off was delayed due to lack of carts so we got on at 2:25. When we did get on there walkers in front of us who slowed us down and we waited I every hole for them. We didn't get to finish the last three holes because it was dark. Would be nice to not allow walkers after 1:00 to allow everyone a chance to finish. Overall, the course was in very good shape and enjoyable.
Good course, good value

Nice little course
Just like the big course, the 9 hole executive course at Aguila is well taken care of and is fun to play. It was perfect for my wife who is just starting out. Very nice greens!
Aguila 9 - great little course
It is very short, but very nice; play from the back of the tee blocks. Also, for the price of 9 holes you can play the course over and over again. The 18 hole course also looks very nice, but haven't played it.

Slow Play Offsets Everything Positive
I've played this course a number of times. The layout is really good and the course has always been in good condition. Unfortunately slow play more than offset the goods things this course offers. We decided to call it quits after 3 hours and having played only 11 holes. 5+ hour rounds are simply not acceptable.
Right on Par
Besides the course being in great shape, the customer service was over the top! After playing a great round of golf with friends I went home planning to return as soon as I got a chance. I didn't know it would be the very next day. I received a call this morning saying I left my wallet in my golf cart. When I retrieved it 30 minutes later everything was exactly as I had left it. It would have been so easy for someone to have helped themselves to a small reward but my wallet was exactly as I left it, cash and cards included. I will be back and this time it will be to play!

Best deal in town
Im a 5 handicsp introducing my wife to golf, amazing enough my game on the big courses is only inproving. A great course to work on the short game.

Very good condition
It was the first time playing the course and we were pleasantly surprised by both the layout and the condition of the course. We will definitely keep this course on our "replay list", the next time we come to Phoenix.

This course is in a beautiful setting
Surrounded by beautiful mountains, the views are great and the course is in a really good shape. With the quails, roadrunners, rabbits, coyotes and the nice smell of the mimosas, you feel like in paradise!
Too bad we were kicked out of the course at 6:00pm on hole 17,...and no place to have a beer after the game.

Golf with Canadians
Course was in good shape especially considering all the play it gets. Greens really fast. I played with 3 siblings from Canada. Very fun people & had much fun with them. Pace was a little slow, but we finished just before dark. Course is a little hard to get to from Scottsdale, but worth it for the price. Has everything: sand, water, elevation changes & lots of desert with which to contend. Bring your game!
