Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club

Nice design to Ak Chin golf course, with many traps, protecting greens and fairways throughout the course. We were not impressed with the compact nature of the sand traps, which were sometimes like going through a thin layer of asphalt. I believe that if you’re going to charge this kind of price, $170 per player, then the course should be in impeccable condition in every way.. that’s just me… I won’t be going out of my way to play it again anytime soon exclamation

Just a consistently great place to play. For how much play it gets the course is in great condition (not sure why players can't fix ball marks :)) The staff is terrific, and the overall experience is very nice. Well done gang

Great experience. Greens fairways and tee boxes were immaculate. Variety of tee boxes to choose from. Nice layout.

One of my favorite places to golf in the Phoenix area.

Course was a nice shape, but there are so many gopher holes on the course. For older guys like me who don’t prefer twisted ankles, a real challenge. I’m not sure there’s much they can do but just know there are a ton of holes.

Special shout out to the on course assistants that keep the pace of play going without ticking people off. It was super busy and I (and I like to play fast) was surprised how smoothly things moved along. Course was - as usual - in fantastic shape for the amount of play it gets. Well done gang

This is without a doubt one of my favorite courses , not just in AZ but anywhere. The conditions were perfect and the staff and service was top notch. Can’t wait to play this again.

Visiting for the month from Michigan and have played SD 4 times and enjoyed each round.

Greens are very good, bunkers mostly decent despite a few wet spots and fairways and tees were very good. Staff does a nice job keeping the course in great shape. There are ALOT of bunkers and the course is challenging no matter how many times I play it.

Appreciate the nice practice area and range balls provided as well as the pushcarts. Only beef is being charged full monty for a pushcart/walker but it is what it is.

Starter and Marshalls did their jobs professionally. Pace of play was good and overall good value at this price point. Not a big fan of 'dynamic pricing' but, again, they do it because they can. Rates are going waaaay out of my comfort zone in the next week so see you guys next year.
