Quintero Golf Club

This course is visually stunning from every angle, the fairways are pristine and bunkers are filled with luxurious sand that makes sand wedges work awesome, which is a good thing because there are a lot of bunkers! Right now I feel that the greens are mowed down too short, the stimp is 12 plus, for amateurs like myself this is frustrating. I love fast greens but these will not hold a ball even on a slight incline. I also feel this mowing to short has made the greens unhealthy looking with a lot of yellow blotches. They must be rolling the greens because they are incredibly smooth, sometimes. Ball will roll 30 feet after stopping 12 inches from the hole. In Early November the greens looked dark and healthy, I will be back when it gets a little warmer!

This should be top 5 course to play in AZ. I have played pretty much every course in AZ and that would be in my top 5. It tough to get the ball to stay on the greens because they are so fast, but just try and stay disciplined. The shape of the course is amazing and the views you get make everything worth it. I am a 4 handicap, shot an 89, and still had the best time enjoying Quintero!

I think overall this is one of the best courses I've played on in my career. All greens rolled true, the fairways were excellent, and the fact it is a remote course with little to no distractions is even better.

If there is one Public Course in Arizona you have to play, Quintero is it! I am an avid golfer and try to play a different course every time. Having played just about every top public course in Arizona, Quintero is by far my favorite!

The staff is amazing! Very cordial, helpful, and even gave us some cookies before we teed off. The course was in immaculate condition! The course is tough but you can choose some easier tees if you aren't up for the challenge.

To anybody in AZ looking for a memorable place to golf, look no further than Quintero!!!! You won't be sorry!

Qunitero was far an away the nicest golf course I have played in Arizona. Beautiful fairways and greens. The layout was spectacular. The people running the course could not be nicer. It was a wonderful experience and I will go back in January 2020. I have played most of the best courses in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and this is superior to all. A must play for any golfer.

This course is an hour drive out of Phoenix, but well worth the trip. Absolutely gorgeous course in perfect condition. Would highly recommend to anyone that likes desert golf. Only issue would be no place for post round cocktail with a view.

Quintero is always a must play when in the Phoenix area. The layout is spectacular, the course is very peaceful and the staff is fantastic. The carts come fully equipped with GPS and ball+club washers, the holes are varied and fun, with lots of tee box options for all players.

Minor con: some teeboxes were damaged and/or not level, and a few greens were patchy.

But don't let that stop you, go and play Quintero!

Must play when in AZ. You will not find a better course I have played all of them except the one ultra private one everyone talks about. Do not miss playing this course

I have played this course a number of times in recent years, this year twice in April ans October, each time the course was in perfect condition and always very challenging. The greens have been lightning fast, but true!

Great lay out. A true private course feel on a public fee budget. 9 th hole best par three in AZ.

I have played here 6 or 7 times. It's a little bit out of the city but worth the drive. it has the best practice area I have seen in AZ. There are several high tees that drop off way down to the greens, beautiful views from every hole. One par 5 is long and uphill. It goes almost 90 degrees right and there is a huge wash on the right. I have seen many players think they could clear the tee shot to the fairway but almost all come up short in the wash. I Iove betting first time players they can't make it. You will not be disappointed if you play here.

Several people from the area told me that this would be the best course we were playing on our 6 day buddies trip and halfway through the trip they are correct. A spectacular layout in incredible condition led to a really enjoyable day. The one interesting thing is that the practice area is in the middle of the course, over a mile away from the clubhouse by cart. The facilities are nothing to write home about so if you want that post round beverage with an amazing view it won’t happen here. But if you’re here to play an amazing golf course this IS the place. The course was thick and lush and the greens were lightning fast, be sure to land your approach shots well short of the pins and let them feed to the holes. Lastly, everyone there was spectacular including Sydney in the restaurant and the starter who really laid out the round for us. The ride is not bad at all from Scottsdale and so worth the trip. Play this course.

One of thé Best courses in Arizona

This really is the most beautiful course I have ever seen!, I have golfed all over the place and paid a lot more money than the regular price at Quintero, but this place is just more in every way! Tit is very challenging to say the least, there is NO hope if you go off the edge but the fairways are still quite generous. The traps are very deep but the greens and fairway grass is almost too perfect. I saw the on Golfholics and was taken with intrigue and when I got on the course the conditions were just unreal. It was cart path only when I played an that made it a workout, but it was worth it! The course is one knotch nicer than Rams Hill or Dove Mountain (just a little) rctwins.com

WOW!! nothing else to be said!! The only thing that could make it better besides if I was a better golfer, is that we could not drive on the course. Cart path only made the round more challenging

The pro shop was belittling and the course Marshall was possibly the rudest one I have ever met.

We golf alot and we will never go back.
