Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club

Overall average conditions. Slow greens chewed up in places, some poor tee boxes with little grass. Pace of play was excellent. Price point is good for overall conditions.

Probably the best condition overall I've ever seen Magnolia, especially the greens. There were only a few bumpy spots on a couple of greens, but overall they are very green, roll true, and moderate speed, not slow like past winters. Staff has done a good job this year getting it back up to standard.

Green we’re slow but receiving. Topical Florida plantation course. Cart parths were rough. Enjoyed our day. Hardly any waiting.

A very beautiful course that is challenging yet playable without gobbling up all your golf balls.

I went to play during the week , was not busy. Guy checking us in was just “there”. I brought a cooler since the last 5 times I’ve played there they didn’t have a cart girl. Starter informed me “to take it back to my car”and feel free to purchase whatever I wanted from the clubhouse. Every time we play this course they always have a 90 degree rule or some issue. The layout is great, but course conditions could be better. Greens were slowww. There are courses nearby that are in better shape for just a few dollars more.

It started with a friendly welcome in the pro shop and the starter continued in the same manner. I was very happy with the conditions of the tee boxes and fairways. they explained to me that the greens were a little on the furry side and the starter gave me the reasons for that. Perfectly understandable.

Beverage cart came around twice and again, a very friendly attendant along with the Ranger, who came by two or three times.

I do enjoy this course and try to play it about every six weeks. It’s about an hour drive and a nice balance from my normal members only course.

Magnolia Point is a nice layout. If it's in good shape it's a fun day of golf. Unfortunately they are reseeding their greens so now is not the time to play the course. I'll be back but not until next year.

I like playing at this course but it needs alot of TLC.

GolfNow should have an alert for overseeding greens!! Very slow and not enjoyable! I have played Magnolia Point many times and this is by far the worst experience. Bunkers are muddy….it hasn’t rained in a hot minute too! Avoid until Mid-November!!

Loved everything about it except the 9th hole. At 5' tall and 95 lbs, I could only drive 120 yards on a good drive.

I am unable to drive over the 100 yard marsh without loosing my ball, so I set my ball on the other side of it.
