Mountain Vista Golf Club - San Gorgonio Course

Very nice course in great condition. Good pace of play. Bit of an odd layout...at 6200 yds, short holes (2700yds) front nine, 3500 yds back nine. All in all, an enjoyable day at a very nice course

good distance for me my hcp is 14 and play irons for the second shoot on the par 4 , is the true golf for me

Enjoyed the course except for the greens , too fast. like playing miniature golf. Need to slow them down to make game more realistic.

Enjoyed the afternoon and restaurant in the evening!

Some of the rough areas were dead but fairways in good shape and greens were lightning fast! All in all a good course!

Great course condition and pace of play. Lot's of water that sneaks up on you. First time players need a guide book. I've never seen a golf course with only 2 par 4's on the front nine but the variety was intriguing.

Challenging greens but course was not in the shape that its sister course, Santa Rosa was in (played that course 1 week prior).

Really enjoyed the course, not too difficult but the greens were very fast. Will definitely play there again.

Format the day I played was a shotgun start and all but maybe 2 groups were all a ladies tournament so I planned on the worse when it came to pace of play. I could not have been more wrong. If they played and quicker I would ave been slowing them up. I hope to get paired with them in the future. Course was in good shape and has a fun layout

Great weather and the course was in fabulous condition the first nine pace-of-play was a little slow but picked up on the back nine overall time was about 4 hours 15 minutes overall rating was a 5-star

Although disappointed at first due to cart path only rules, we quickly determined that the course was in very good condition. Had a most enjoyable round and would highly recommend this course. Although we had a foursome ahead of out twosome the pace was adequate for us as we were not pushed from behind. The only criticism was we could't find this second course (proshop etc.) easily after passing the easily visible first one.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. We played in 4 hours. Courses are always in great shape. Beautiful venue.

This is a very pretty track. Well designed with bunkers that punish a poor shot, but don’t interfere with good shots. Greens were challenging but well maintained. Several long narrow greens, several elevated greens, several water protected. It seemed much more difficult than the 123 slope rating assigned from the gold (2nd longest) tees.

staff was nice ,they were getting ready to reseed however the course was in great shape ,the greens were fast .

We played this course twice within a week and it is a great course and good value for money but this time it was sloooow. The other course at Mountain Vista was closed for overseeding and it was a Sunday afternoon so it was to be expected but even so it was slow.

It has not put us off the course but we would think carefully before playing at the weekend in the afternoon.
