Mountain Vista Golf Club - San Gorgonio Course

Great weather and the course was in fabulous condition the first nine pace-of-play was a little slow but picked up on the back nine overall time was about 4 hours 15 minutes overall rating was a 5-star

Although disappointed at first due to cart path only rules, we quickly determined that the course was in very good condition. Had a most enjoyable round and would highly recommend this course. Although we had a foursome ahead of out twosome the pace was adequate for us as we were not pushed from behind. The only criticism was we could't find this second course (proshop etc.) easily after passing the easily visible first one.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. We played in 4 hours. Courses are always in great shape. Beautiful venue.

This is a very pretty track. Well designed with bunkers that punish a poor shot, but don’t interfere with good shots. Greens were challenging but well maintained. Several long narrow greens, several elevated greens, several water protected. It seemed much more difficult than the 123 slope rating assigned from the gold (2nd longest) tees.

staff was nice ,they were getting ready to reseed however the course was in great shape ,the greens were fast .

We played this course twice within a week and it is a great course and good value for money but this time it was sloooow. The other course at Mountain Vista was closed for overseeding and it was a Sunday afternoon so it was to be expected but even so it was slow.

It has not put us off the course but we would think carefully before playing at the weekend in the afternoon.

TWO SLOW, WE ONLY PLAYED NINE HOLES. THE PACE WAS VERY SLOW, THREE PLUS HOURS TO PLAY THE FRONT NINE. IT WAS SO SLOW WE JUST LEFT. EVERY HOLE WAS BACKED UP THREE DEEP.

We've seen this offered many times before and for some reason have not gone for it. That was a mistake as this course is great. It's mostly pretty flat but has nicely elevated greens that were very slick when we played it which made it difficult. Add the significant amount of water and you have a real handful (and there was no wind when we played, even tougher if it was blowing, I am sure). Well worth a go

I have played both Sun City courses many times and they are always very well maintained and in as good of condition as any. Most holes wide driving areas but enough trouble lurking. Some of the greens are very difficult.

Course was a little shorter than I expected, but well kept and challenging around the greens. A fun course that will test your accuracy but also leaves room for error. If you are out for a fun round of golf you will enjoy this experience.

Pace of play was very good. Conditions were very good considering the heat lately. I enjoyed the round. One of my favorite courses for the price.

I have been to the Desert for 5 years on vacation and have found a hidden jewel. A beautiful course with great vistas. Every thing was top notch, including the friendly staff.

All was good except for dried out, possibly diseased greens. They still ran true, but not very green.
