About
Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club offers a championship course where you can enjoy a private and secluded setting free of homes anywhere near the fairways, tees, or greens. Donald Ross originally designed the golf course in 1924. It has a classic layout that has withstood the test of time to become one of the area's most popular public courses. Seasoned golfers will find that the course is not the most challenging but it is good for a casual round that will still keep you on your toes. The course is tight, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. There are not many hazards but there are some and they are very strategically placed. The layout is player friendly enough to accommodate a range of skill levels and the affordable rates make Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club doubly appealing.

Golfer Reviews
Slow greens
Aesthetically pleasing course with mature foliage.
Yikes
Rough course! Slow play. Patchy patchy greens. The course feels like you are hitting off of dirt.
Great staff though.
Save your money and go elsewhere
Fairways are so patchy hitting off dirt or sand the whole time , the greens were horrible with viny fringe and bare dirt everywhere , can’t hit a straight putt , you have to feel like your hitting a chip shot with your putter to get it to the hole . Save your money it’s a 20$ course at best .
Horrible course
Course layout is dangerous given the players who come to play. Almost got hit about three times. Greens are some of the worst in south Florida. For $70something dollars this was pitiful
Will Olay again
Check in person and starter very friendly and welcoming.
Tee boxes a little beat up.
Fairways fairly good.
Greens mostly in good shape. Average difficulty.
Did not stop after round for refreshments.
The bacon cheeseburgers were the highlight
The staff is great. Service was incredible at the food truck/bar. Starter and other staff were pleasant. The course unfortunately was in terrible shape. The teeboxes were mostly dirt, the bunkers were lacking in sand, and the greens were in terrible shape. We implemented a max two-putt because there was no fair putting on any greens.
I am sure this was a great course back in the day. It is just very poorly maintained.
Has seen best times.
Very confusing lay-out and poor signage too boot. Fairways are very thin!! Most tee boxes are okay. Most greens ar not okay.
Classic course with a great starter
Classic course as far as the layout and the course itself is about average for courses in the area. Love the starter and the rest of the staff though, makes a difference for sure.
Avoid that golf course Sunday afternoon
We have to wait 5-10min to get a golf cart ( not enough cart when it’s crowded)
Tee offs need grass and care.
They improved there greens conditions since September. The staff are friendly!
Great course
Great course. Greens are really slow so to grass being long. But guess they don’t have steady greens keepers so they keep the grass longer so greens don’t burn up. Great course for the price. Had a great time everybody played at a good pace no holes really got backed up would definitely play again
Unfortunately the course has not been maintained and it shows. The tee boxes and greens are in very rough shape. The fairways are hard, the sand traps lack sand, a real shame since the layout is fine.
