Hollywood Beach Golf Club
About
Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club offers a championship course where you can enjoy a private and secluded setting free of homes anywhere near the fairways, tees, or greens. Donald Ross originally designed the golf course in 1924. It has a classic layout that has withstood the test of time to become one of the area's most popular public courses. Seasoned golfers will find that the course is not the most challenging but it is good for a casual round that will still keep you on your toes. The course is tight, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. There are not many hazards but there are some and they are very strategically placed. The layout is player friendly enough to accommodate a range of skill levels and the affordable rates make Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club doubly appealing.

A Fun Course To Try
It was my first time out on the course this year. The staff were very friendly and greeted me when we walked in. The course was in fair condition. It was worth the money and I will be playing there again!
No flag sticks
They pulled all the pins at 5pm with one hour of day light remaining and several groups on the course. I played the last 7 holes with no flag sticks - I asked the guy to stop pulling them - but he refused and carried on.
I have never seen such incompetence from staff at a golf course.
Not worth 1$
Awful course. Bad greens, fairways and bunker like solid rock
Play if you must
Course really needs improvements.
Played on a rainy day so was basically empty. Would not be in my top choices in this area.
Not great /not horrible
For the area and price , great option. Greens are like putting shag carpet, but on other end you hit the green it stays. Staff is beyond nice and helpful. Buddy seems like a great dude who really loves the place.
Course in terrible shape
The staff is so friendly and the pace of play is great because there was no one else playing. The course is in terrible condition. The greens are bare, the tee boxes are full of clover. Very poor green maintenance. The facilities are old. I guess you get what you pay for.
Golf Now Sux
Reserved a teatime with GolfNow and they wrote me into a $87 membership that I did not even sign up for, a fine print rip off. How dare they charge $87 with a fine print BS rip off
Ep
Always likeould this course, hopefully the city doesn't close it the same time they close orangebrook
Don’t waste your money
Not worth the green fee whatsoever. Greens and tee boxes are in terrible condition, fairways aren’t much better. Should be charging more than 20$. If they did put some money into the place it wouldn’t be bad, but to be charging what they did and it be in that condition is embarrassing.
Great Day
First time here, my son and I really enjoyed the course and it’s challenges. Definitely will be back.
Not worth the money
Awful greeens. More weeds than gras. Pre historic
Golf carts.
Good and fun layout…
Good wildlife. Turtles. Birds.
First time playing … and last.
To say this course is a dog track is an insult to any and all dog tracks still in existence. Overgrown tee boxes, burnt greens, atrocious pace of play and unaccommodating staff. Add it all up and you get a godawful golfing experience.
