Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club offers a championship course where you can enjoy a private and secluded setting free of homes anywhere near the fairways, tees, or greens. Donald Ross originally designed the golf course in 1924. It has a classic layout that has withstood the test of time to become one of the area's most popular public courses. Seasoned golfers will find that the course is not the most challenging but it is good for a casual round that will still keep you on your toes. The course is tight, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. There are not many hazards but there are some and they are very strategically placed. The layout is player friendly enough to accommodate a range of skill levels and the affordable rates make Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club doubly appealing.

First time playing … and last.

To say this course is a dog track is an insult to any and all dog tracks still in existence. Overgrown tee boxes, burnt greens, atrocious pace of play and unaccommodating staff. Add it all up and you get a godawful golfing experience.

GREAT COURSE

Was in Florida for a conference. Hollywood beach was a short distance away from my hotel. The course was terrific and the staff was friendly. Rented clubs for my 18 holes. Also had a nice Pro Shop. Would definitely recommend. Much better than nearby Eco Golf Club which was the absolute worst.

Would definitely play there again!

Nice track but needs work

It had been raining a lot this week but even so, the greens, traps, and fairways were not in the best condition. Still for $17 I was satisfied.

Absolute Dog Track

Don’t play this course. Literally the worst course I’ve ever played in my life. Greens have weeds and sand pits and worse than most fairways. Didn’t even make sense to play…. I left after 8 holes.

No food. Grill wasn’t even open.
