Hollywood Beach Golf Club

I was very impressed with this course. Greens had challenging angulation. The fairways and rough were very well kept. Even with 2 inches of rain the night before it played great. We got caught in a downpour for the last 3 holes but were having so much fun we roughed it out and came in drenched and happy. This course will become one of our regulars.

This course is long for me. I do not hit the ball all that long, so the 400-yd+ par 4 holes kill me. Then the make-able par 5 holes just stump me. The par 3 holes are each unique in there own way and you have to be on the money to score well.

But you can relax and take in nature, have some fun and meet fun golfers.

it is a great course,not too challenging but interesting holes.
People is friendly and carts are in good condition.

The course is in good shape. Play was quick and the greens running nicely .

Got a great deal and as had my reservations that it would be a good course. Included cart fee. Course was very well maintained and the starter was nice enough to accommodate us for a later start - friendly. Holes had enough features to make them reasonably complicated.

Second time I played here in two weeks. Thought maybe the first time was just a bad experience. Today I gave it a second chance. On the front 9, we were moving really slow (again). 2some ahead of us waiting on the 4some ahead of them. Ahead of the 4some? Nothing we could see...

Saw the ranger roving so we figured he'd move the pack along... Wrong. By the time we finished the front 9 we were at 2:35. Really? I said enough and called the clubhouse, explained my frustration, was placed on hold (put the phone down#, and waited, gave up after it was finally my shot.

So, by the 15th, we were amongst 8 sets of carts backed up waiting. All complaining about the slow pace. Asked the guys behind us "Is this normal"?..."Yeah, it happens a lot here". By the 16th I gave up. I told my partner to just play on but my rhythm was gone.

We pulled up to return the cart. I see the little old ranger and gave it to him. His response? "If you don't like it, play somewhere else"... Great suggestion. Along with my departure are $28 green fees paid, $15-$20 bucks spent on food, tips and drinks. #oh, x2 since that includes my playing partner#.

The best part of S. Florida is we have choices. So many courses in the $25 - $40 range for weekly play. We can certainly find a course that wants our money for a simple request to move really slow people out of the way.

Course? Really well kept. Greenskeeper seems to be doing a good job. The aeration on the greens is pretty much cleared up. Again, nice course. Staff not so much. Ranger - time to retire...

The day I played the course was super wet and the bunkers were ponds, but for $8 on Golf Now how can you go wrong. On dry days this can be a fun course. Some long par 4's.

THIS IS A GOOD COURSE TO WORK ON YOUR IRONS AND PLACMENT GAME... FRIENDLY STAFF THE STARTER IS A COOL GUY AND IS VERY LAID BACK.... PACE OF PLAY IS SLOW BUT ITS A LOCAL FLAT TRACK AND YOU SHOULD JUST ENJOY THE DAY OUT.....

I like this golf much more than the others near of the area. Challanging, greens are beautiful.
I am sort, i don't write Well english and the corrector isn't easy.

I have probably played this course close to 35 times in the last year. Very nice course, well maintained, with several holes that will make you think.

We were in Florida for a week of golf. We chose this course since it was close to the airport. It was O.K. for a quick round before getting on a plane. Not the place I would choose for it's ambiance.

You'll have to lay up on a couple of par 4's, there's a couple of small tight greens to land, the course is harder than you think.
It's kept in very good shape all year, down the street from my house, I like it as a home course. GO!PLAY! Restaurant is great too. Ask about overnight packages that basically give you a free round just for spending the night.

Needs better yardage markings!! Great course for novice players but not challenging for experienced golfers..

I am very pleased with this course. Of all the courses I have played in south Florida this is one of the best all around. Its challenging and well maintained. I will definately play this course again in the future.

Not a bad track for the money. Easy to get a tee time.

The front nine starts with two consecutive Par 5's, and ends with four Par 4's. Water comes into play on your approach shots on three Par 4's. Course management is a must, if you want to score well. Played from the Back Tees, a 6,376 yard track. Finished under 4 hours!!

It's a decent course for 20-40 bucks. Slow greens, but in good shape. Fairways are fine, and it's really a target golf track... there are atleast 5 holes where long hitters shouldn't hit driver.
