Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club offers a championship course where you can enjoy a private and secluded setting free of homes anywhere near the fairways, tees, or greens. Donald Ross originally designed the golf course in 1924. It has a classic layout that has withstood the test of time to become one of the area's most popular public courses. Seasoned golfers will find that the course is not the most challenging but it is good for a casual round that will still keep you on your toes. The course is tight, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. There are not many hazards but there are some and they are very strategically placed. The layout is player friendly enough to accommodate a range of skill levels and the affordable rates make Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club doubly appealing.

This was a good round and excellent pace. One hole was converted to par 3 but was a good point to drop in.
The worst
Absolute horrid greens. this course should be 6 bucks to play 18. tee boxes are a disgrace. Do they not care about their own golf course? Fix the greens and tee boxes please. Should be ashamed.
Made a reservation but had to play with another couple
I wish I knew we would have to play with strangers. I was looking forward to a romantic date with my husband but had to play with another couple. The course was beautiful but I did not want to play with others. They hit multiple balls at each hole which made the day too long.
A place where you can hit a golf ball
Horrible tee boxes and greens. I guess they call it Hollywood Beach because you have to tee off and putt on sand. Nicest part about the course was the cart girl. This place should cost $15 to play.
Used to be a nice course! Don't play here, save your money!
Where to start... the greens are really long, in talking you have to turn your hips on putts. The bunkers are packed hard and have never been raked, the fairways play like the rough. I know no course is perfect but one of the holes even had a homeless gentlemen having a nap on the bench behind one of teeboxes. The layout is challenging so I really can't fault the design but this course is practically abandoned. Save your money! 35 bucks is too much for this course and there doesn't appear to be any signs they are fixing it. I don't rag on courses because sometimes new players will play will learn on these courses without breaking the bank but be warned these greens will no get you reps in green reading. A real shame...
