Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club offers a championship course where you can enjoy a private and secluded setting free of homes anywhere near the fairways, tees, or greens. Donald Ross originally designed the golf course in 1924. It has a classic layout that has withstood the test of time to become one of the area's most popular public courses. Seasoned golfers will find that the course is not the most challenging but it is good for a casual round that will still keep you on your toes. The course is tight, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. There are not many hazards but there are some and they are very strategically placed. The layout is player friendly enough to accommodate a range of skill levels and the affordable rates make Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club doubly appealing.

Worth the look
This is second time to play using hot deals, at 17 bucks is a no brainer. This course is mostly in decent shape, but some greens and areas chsllenged. Easy to get around in a little over 3 hours. Great friendly staff.

Good value, very nice staff, good pace of play, but greens are in poor shape.
This course is nice
The course is nice. Some greens were super Sandy and slow and if it rains the course is closed for like 2 days. Apart from that, amazing price and worth it for every level of golfer. I broke 70 on this course for the first time
Mr. Tee It Up
Slowest greens I ever played but I enjoyed the course and it’s layout! Oh yeah, I also made 1000 new Friends while playing the course! New places provide new challenges….go tee it up!
Great Value Round
You can’t beat playing this course for $20 including cart. Be prepared for the local wildlife to watch you putt.
Pleasant and well maintained
Beautiful golf course, pleasant and well maintained. I'm going back for the 2nd time.
Very wide Fairways facilitates the game, however some difficult holes (water).

Close the course and renovated it
Don't know who has been sitting on the funds that have been in place for a long time, this course needs so much care it's not even worth $10 a head, close it, renovated and repay the city for the money that you put in your pocket, Council. We will never ever play this course again until you do renovated.
The city council needs to get off their butt and use the funds that have been in account for at least 2 years now
Even if you need to close the course, the course needs to be redone with the funds that have been in account for at least 2 years now, get off your butt and redo this course, it's a beautiful layout it just needs to be redone with the money you have already, the reason I know this is because about 3 months ago we played with a couple of elderly women that were on the committee and they knew that the money is already there, you're just sitting on it or have you used it for other facilities or is it in your pockets, there is

This course is in very poor condition
Played this course may 3,2022 would never play it again or recommend it to anybody. You can’t putt on the greens because they are so poor. Very bad experience .
This course needs a lot of work
The only reason I ever play this course is because I pay between 15-20 bucks with golf now..The course needs a lot of work and the bunkers are like cement..I can't believe that a pro like McCumber would ever put his name with this course.
Do not care about locals
It is absolutely amazing how bad this course got in 4 weeks, back when all the snowbirds were here paying the big bucks the greens were almost perfect Fairways were okay the tea boxes were coming back from being abused. Moving forward for weeks, the fairways were tore up and turning brown the greens were so spotty the ball would not even roll straight or a long way absolutely atrocious. Dry spots throughout the entire green, some bare spots where the dirt was showing appeared to not have been watered since the snowbirds left, tee boxes looked greener than the greens and I mean every single green. The condition of the course spoke volumes of how the club does not care one iota about the locals, all three of us agreed not to even play for a mere $10 each, not worth even that in its present condition.
What happened to the greens
Have played this course in the past and enjoyed it. Fair layout with good pace of play. Liked to take my 2 sons there that have just taken up the game. Haven’t been there since the fall and was very disappointed. The greens are in horrible shape. Not sure If there is 1 green on whole course that has grass on entire green. Tee boxes also much worse than I remember
