Stoneybrook East Golf Course

The greens were in good shape but were super slow and didn’t roll true. The fairways were super dry and desperately needed water. And the bunkers were as hard as concrete. It was difficult to enjoy the round due to the rough conditions and the tight and difficult layout. I hadn’t played this course in over 8 years but won’t be back either. And I’d be embarrassed if I recommended this course to someone. It’s just overall not worth the $59 price.

The pace of play was horrible. At least 10-15 minutes wait on every tee box on the back nine. On this date very little grass in the fairways on the back nine in particular. The bunkers were hard as a rock. However, the greens were in great condition. When the fairways improve and pace of play improves, then I would change my recommendations.

Tough to play for the girls that do not play much. Not muck difference in tee blocks from white to red.

I thought the greens were nice although they were slow. The fairways were spotty in some places, but that's not unusual th9is time of year. Enjoyed the course - be prepared there is a lot of water on it

Thoroughly enjoyable course. The course was in very reasonable condition, greens were very true and in good condition if a bit on the slow side. A good variety of holes and plenty of tees to chose from, a couple of the back tees were in poor condition but it looked like no one used them much, the blues and whites were ok. Staff were very friendly and the rates very reasonable, I would happily play the course again and again. Well worth the drive out from Lake Beuna Vista.

Played early on Sat morning as a solo and got paired up. The fairways looked really good but the greens looked GREAT. This place was TERRIBLE 2-3 years ago but it's turnaround is really impressive. A few tee boxes needed work, and one in the shade was BAD, but even still I can't really ding em for the dry weather and shady boxes.

Too many twosome's that could have been foursomes to speed up play. Checking in never asked if wanted warm-up practice balls or even where the driving range was or putting green. Starter came in while I was checking in and put a twosome right ahead of us.

Course not very well identified. Drove in wrong direction twice.

For the price, would not recommend or play again.

I was very satisfied with my round. The course has enough tee boxes for every skill level and our foursome finished in about 4 hours 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. The greens were challenging with some multi-level greens and the fairways were wide enough to keep your ball in play. A mishit shot could easily end up in the water or in the natural areas, so pack a few extra balls.

Friendly staff, greens in good shape overall course was really nice and played well. Would 100% go back.

This place is in really great shape compared to a year ago. The bunkers are still as hard as the fairway, but the greens and tees are in fine shape. So glad to see this place so playable again and I always enjoy myself on this challenging track. Don’t miss the fairways too much though or you will lose a lot of balls in the woods and water.

Good value this time of year, when other courses have tripled their fees in the area

For the price of every other course in Central Florida currently, the price here can’t be beat for the quality of course! The course itself was in great shape and the greens were as good as everyone had mentioned. Only downside was no cart girl but besides that we loved it and will be back again soon!

Very nice golf course with fast play tempo. The layout was very nice.

It had been somewhere between 4 -5 years since we last played here. Course conditions steered us to other courses. We were informed conditions have improved. Yes in deed. The course has improved greatly. Most t-boxes were great the fairways were very good and the greens were fantastic! Getting the ball on the green was a bit challenging as the course layout requires some course management. But once on the greens, as long as you have a talent for putting, you were good to go. They ran true. It was quite fun playing here again. We’ll come back. Thank you.

This is a very good first round course if traveling to Orlando for several days of golf. The fairways were thin, and that is being kind, yet they were manageable. The tee boxes and greens were above average. The layout is nice, wide open fairways which helps on first round. I played the white tees, some of the par threes were really short at 96 yards and 136 yards. I believe they were moved up from the white marker. I would definitely play again.

we have not been here in a few years because it was really going into disrepair. However we decided to give it a try again and we were pleasantly surprised. They seem to have worked hard to bring it back to a good level. The fairways on the front nine were lush and green. The greens and t boxes were good although greens ran very slow and a bit wonky. The back nine still needs some work but overall it was looking good.
