About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Greens in bad shape
This was the worst I've seen Stoney in a long time. Several greens are simply unplayable. Really hope they can recover soon.

Greenskeeper not doing the job
Greens are bad and getting worse. Tee boxes aren't much better, and fairways need some help, too, but they're not as crucial. We're writing this course off for the foreseeable future.

Heat
The heat is killing the course. Just a month ago the greens were in perfect condition. After another month of weather in the 90s they are fighting to keep the greens alive. Rainy season can't come soon enough.
Disappointing shape
Gave the course another try and they should be ashamed to charge $70 for a round of golf. Bumpy greens with many unplayable. Not sure what happened but I guess they got burned out???
Will not play here again until multiple good reviews. Was in great shape a couple months ago but not now.

Great layout ,some fantastic holes ,will return next year for sure. RECCOMEND
Not worth it.
It’s a miserable course. It’s diseased and dried up. Should be embarrassed for charging full price. A total ripoff!
Price gouging
Been wanting to play since reviews were getting better. They have been working on coarse . Not there yet. My main complaint is charging to much for a beer it’s no wonder people sneek there own in. $7.00 for a pre made hotdog. Cmon people

A good test of golf
A challenging course but fair. We found that provided you could be accurate, and were able to find the greens OK putting was not too difficult. Generally, the fairways were suffiently wide and the greens undulated quite a bit. Although there was water it did not encroach the playing areas.
Course is struggling again
Just when it was in great shape, I guess the lack of rain and then maybe the recent downpours have hurt this course. Fairways now look burned out and bare. Greens are rough with several unplayable. Such a shame since it was in great shape about a month ago.
Not worth the price they are charging
Not worth the price they are charging. The course is in horrible condition. The greens as diseased, dried out or covered with weeds. They should be embarrassed for charging a full price for it!
