Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Hidden Gem
Wow, I’ve been coming down to the Orland area for over 15yrs and I’ve never heard of this course. What an absolute gem of a course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in very good condition… so what else can you ask for. I was very happy with the layout as well. Very hole has its own personality…. Very nice design. Kudos to Jeff the starter…. Very friendly and helpful. Only wish there was a cart person or better amenities of the course. Looks like they were building as outside bar though…. So that is definitely gonna be a huge plus. Will definitely play this course again on my next trip down
Too Slow
No Starter, no on course support, players doing what ever they want and slow doing it
Nice Course - Slow Play
This course offers a varied layout with very tough greens. Play was slow on this particular day. Waits were longer on the back nine.
Kingsridge Championship
Course was in good condition.
Clubhouse was being updated.
Course was a fair challenge.
Several holes played long because they were uphill.
Shorter course gem
Don't let the 6200 yard from the tips length fool you. This course demands accuracy and multiple shot making opportunities. Not for the young big hitters, but great for us older golfers. Scenic layout with a few elevation changes.
Nice
Good value for your money. Some greens need a little help but overall good
Bad experience
Got there for afternoon tee time and they said there would be “at least” a thirty minute delay because they didn’t have any carts available which indicates they are over booking or they aren’t keeping people up to pace on the course. We would not have had time to finish our round in daylight with that much or more delay!
Good course with bad policy & rude staff.
The course was in good shape with a few spotty greens. There was significant lightening and thunder at the turn. My playing partners asked for a rain check. The staff said, "we don't give rain checks". "Besides, it's not raining right now. "
My partner said that he was more concerned about the lightning. He was told he could go play or leave.
I like the course but can't support an organization that treats customers so poorly.
Enjoyed playing course. Had to wait well past our tee time for golf carts. Play on the front nine was fine but back was very slow!! Will play again though.
Always Dependable
Kingsridge is always dependable. The fairways were in great shape. The greens were a little bumpy this time around which is not the usual case for this course. Seems like they may have recently gotten punched but that’s not usual for this time of the year. They still rolled true though and wasn’t an inconvenience. The pace of play was really slow but mainly due to the group in front of us. I do recommend and will continue to be a return customer.
