Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Playing in a field
This was the worst course I have ever tried to play on. There was no fairways - the grass and rough was all one. The greens were overgrown with weeds that made putting impossible. The staff was not interested. I paid in advance through Golfnow, if not I would dispute the payment.
The worst course we have ever played on
We have played this course on numerous occasion and it is normally in fair condition. However today it was not a golf course at all it was just overgrown land that once was a golf course. The weed on the greens were bigger than the ones in my garden. The grass has not been cut for what looks like months. We played 9 holes and gave up. We advise the lad in the Pro shop and all he could say was sorry. Booked through GolfNow and when I complained to them about it. They said write a review but never mentioned giving me back my money. Poor show all round.
Not what we expected.
Par 57, only 3 par 4's. Challenging target golf. Great place to hone your iron game. Greens were awesome, tee boxes adequate. Areas around the greens need serious attention..Miss hits from box would leave you in some tight lies and wash out areas.
Great short course
Great short course, made up of 15 par 3s and 3 par 4s. Greens in excellent condition. Tees okay. Fairways could do with a little work. Par 3s as long or short as you want them with 4 tee choices. Undulating course with good views and lots of sand (but little water) made the course fun. Great for those that are not big hitters.
No Customer Service
I had booked this course for today (April 26/19) and we showed up for our tee time. It was going to rain according to the weather. This course had no rain check policy. They expected us to pay $75 US and maybe get a few holes in with no rain check. They said no rain checks “today”.
It’s the second time we’ve had issues with this course.
Never again.
Nice course, some issues
We had a 3:48 tee time & “map it” took us to the east side of the development. We had to drive around another 10-15 minutes to the clubhouse entrance on route 27. By the time we parked & checked in it was time to go off. Fine. Then we were told that cart had to be returned by 6:30. We only had time to rush through 14 holes. Disappointing. We liked the course conditions & layout. Pace would have been fine if we would have been able to play till dusk. No code for on course bathrooms & pro shop doors were locked when we stopped after 9.
Great course to practice.
If you want to hone your skills and iron play, you need to play this 18 hole executive course. Your mid irons will improve, and you'll have a great time playing the par 4's as well.
Service at the Ridge Course
We arrived for our tee time only to find that the Office was not open and we would have to drive bac to the main clubhouse to pay and get a cart. We then had to drive the carts up to the course. At lunch time we called to clubhouse to see if they had any food available. We then drove the carts back to the clubhouse only to find the only thing they had to eat was hot dogs which were not looking the best. They had a few packages of one kind of chips, no straws and if you wanted a soda coke it was not working. The woman at the counter was the only person working and she lacked a friendlier attitude. We then had to drive the carts back up to the ridge ad when we finished. turn around and drive back dowb. When we stopped for a bite to eat we asked if we could drive a car back up and leave the carts at the ridge when we were finished and were told no. This was the second time in 2 weeks we had played this course and previously had been satisfied with the service. We felt that for our dollar and inconvenience we did not get our moneys worth. When we are back in Florida next March we will not be looking to book the ridge course again, based on the service and inconvenience, we experienced. It would have been much better if we had been told in advance that the ridge clubhouse was closed and to check into the main clubhouse.
Some Great Holes
There are several holes with great views and changes in elevation.
Really fun and interesting to play.
Love kings ridge it's perfect for us seniors. Greens are very nice tee boxes good. Fairways not so much. It looks like to us they are starting to let it go. Please stay with this course, it is perfect for us who can no longer hit like we use to.. Ken
Great Course
This course always seems to be in excellent condition. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in excellent condition. I enjoy playing here as it is challenging - miss the green and you have a problem. Play this course several times a year and would recommend it to all.
We had a tee time at 12:05. We arrived about 11:30 to fi d the pro shop locked and no sign of staff. We had already taken our clubs out of the trunk and changed our shoes. We had to repack the trunk and drive to th other pro shop. No apology, just a statement that they knew there was no staff there. We were given a score card and key to a cart and drove back to the course.
Have never had this experience before and did not like it.
Good value and f. Course
We enjoyed this short course. Found it attractive and very challenging. Well maintained Ed. Good pa e f play.
Always enjoy the Ridge!
We have played Kings Ridge Kings course for years and love it to work on our short game. Will come back next year!
Strange course, no information abt short course
Rain left after two holes, getting rain check was difficult, attendant did not know how.
No service on course, had to get drink from machine, out of water.
