Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Great views!!! Photo submitted by SHASHI60 on 01/18/2015
Nice Course
I like this course....it is on different levels and has nice views from it. In pretty good condition. Most tees good, the odd one or two need attention. Greens slow but mainly in good condition. Some have more weeds than others.
Fairways and bunkers good. Cart path has a few bumpy areas!
For the players that don't hit long any more it's a fun course.
Short course - Executive
When booking we did not realise this is effectively a par 3 course with three par 4 holes only. Nothing wrong with the course, just not what we expected
Be considerate of your clients
Arrived at Executive clubhouse to find it closed at 10:45 am. Had to drive back to main clubhouse to check in and then drive a cart up to course. Sprinkler system was on. I was told it would stop at 11 am our tee time. Not only did it not stop additional sprinklers came on and soaked us and our cart and clubs even though maintenance saw us waiting to play.
Once we finally dried off a bit and started the course was in terrible shape (we have golfed this course each winter for the last 9 years).worse shape ever. During the remainder of our round we had to avoid sprinklers, even though maintenance saw us playing the holes. Since there did not seem go be anyone else on the course, not sure why they could not start sprinklers after we played a hole. It will be a long time before we go back to a once favourite course. Tried to contact course people, can not connect to website.
Closed
Had a 6 pm tee time to get 9 in before it got dark and the place was closed. Called the next day to find out what the deal was and the clubhouse staff was like, "oh well, sucks to be you". We won't go back.
Fun course.
Like all executive courses, you better have your iron game working or you’ll have a tough time. Greens had just been aerated but we still enjoyed our round.
Closed!
We had a 6pm tee time for 9 holes on the Executive Course,
got there @ 5:44 after work and the place was closed. I guess it's more important to party Friday night then to run a business. So disappointed.
Superb greens... fun N challenging course
Don't let the "executive course" 'par 3' course status fool you! Challenging design includes undulating greens, intimidating bunkers & elevation changes.
Fun and scenic layout.
In Great Condition!
King's Ridge is a favorite to play. Great course conditions. Executive course is no pushover if you want a quick and challenging 18. Full length course also plays well if you have the time for a full sized round.
Dooped
This was basically a par 3 course and nowhere on the description was I told of this. Only 3 holes were a par 4 out of the 18 holes and the rest were par 3's...what a joke. Tee boxes were jot in great shape and greens had rough patches that made putting harder. I expected better conditions given the location of the course.
Playing in a field
This was the worst course I have ever tried to play on. There was no fairways - the grass and rough was all one. The greens were overgrown with weeds that made putting impossible. The staff was not interested. I paid in advance through Golfnow, if not I would dispute the payment.
The worst course we have ever played on
We have played this course on numerous occasion and it is normally in fair condition. However today it was not a golf course at all it was just overgrown land that once was a golf course. The weed on the greens were bigger than the ones in my garden. The grass has not been cut for what looks like months. We played 9 holes and gave up. We advise the lad in the Pro shop and all he could say was sorry. Booked through GolfNow and when I complained to them about it. They said write a review but never mentioned giving me back my money. Poor show all round.
Not what we expected.
Par 57, only 3 par 4's. Challenging target golf. Great place to hone your iron game. Greens were awesome, tee boxes adequate. Areas around the greens need serious attention..Miss hits from box would leave you in some tight lies and wash out areas.
Great short course
Great short course, made up of 15 par 3s and 3 par 4s. Greens in excellent condition. Tees okay. Fairways could do with a little work. Par 3s as long or short as you want them with 4 tee choices. Undulating course with good views and lots of sand (but little water) made the course fun. Great for those that are not big hitters.
No Customer Service
I had booked this course for today (April 26/19) and we showed up for our tee time. It was going to rain according to the weather. This course had no rain check policy. They expected us to pay $75 US and maybe get a few holes in with no rain check. They said no rain checks “today”.
It’s the second time we’ve had issues with this course.
Never again.
Nice course, some issues
We had a 3:48 tee time & “map it” took us to the east side of the development. We had to drive around another 10-15 minutes to the clubhouse entrance on route 27. By the time we parked & checked in it was time to go off. Fine. Then we were told that cart had to be returned by 6:30. We only had time to rush through 14 holes. Disappointing. We liked the course conditions & layout. Pace would have been fine if we would have been able to play till dusk. No code for on course bathrooms & pro shop doors were locked when we stopped after 9.
Great course to practice.
If you want to hone your skills and iron play, you need to play this 18 hole executive course. Your mid irons will improve, and you'll have a great time playing the par 4's as well.
