Legends Golf & Country Club

As holiday homers Legends was always one of our go to courses. It’s great to see it recovering so well after the closure years. It is obvious a real effort is going into making it a positive experience . We were met as soon as we parked our car and clubs offloaded onto cart.

Starter was efficient and friendly and sent us out slightly earlier as group before were late.

Nice addition of GPS to carts although I didn’t always hit the yardage! Greens were rolling fast and true. Fairways typical for this time of season.

Had a drink and snack in clubhouse after and staff were very welcoming and friendly . Busy with locals always a good sign. Hats off to those running the club. We’ll be back.

First time playing and will be coming back. well maintained and friendly staff.

The greens were really fast and they putted true. There are 5 tee boxes so everyone has a chance to play to their own level. I saw a few bare spots along the edges of the fairway, but overall fairway lies were not an issue. The elevation changes were not expected, but provided a fun and fair round of golf. I will play here again.

Legends is a great course, but you need to plan for play to be slow. The course was fairly empty yesterday afternoon, and I played alone. I played 8 holes in 45 minutes until I caught up to the crowd and the full round was 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Other than that, Legends is always a great course to play

Although a little out of way if you get a good hot deal well worth playing. Everyone friendly and course in great condition. The day I played the systems was down so a little confusing starting ofg

The improvements are paying off. The fairways, greens and tee boxes in good shape. Still working on the rough. Great staff.

The course was in great shape. Only issue was the slow pace of play for a late Friday morning.

One amazing course, found only by chance. Yes will return in May when back over here. Only complaint was speed of play. Marshall tried but x2 four ball novices

The course has a good layout with some elevations normally not seen in Florida. Made for an interesting pairing by the starter, claimed it was swamped. We hardly saw golfers on the course and no one waiting to get on the course, confused.

The greens are slow and fairways are ok (some bare dirt areas), it could be better.

Legends sits high on our list of “must plays” every year now. Since re-opening a few years ago, the course can always be relied on to be in good shape. However, because of this, it can prove to be very popular,resulting in slowish rounds if you get unlucky behind novice groups. We saw no course marshals to hurry things along on a busy Saturday afternoon. There had been a Junior Competition, but that had all but finished. Refreshment cart came by us on the 2nd tee but never re-appeared.

Greens are great, tee boxes are good and fairways generous and generally not too wet.

I would recommend this to all standards, providing they play the tees for their standard.

The course had closed and was renovated last year. Greens are in great condition. Was always a good layout. Highly recommend.

We played in a group of 24. Play was a little slow, but that was because of the number of groups. Great course and look forward to playing it again next yeat.
