I play this course every visit….has some elevations, greens are large enough to play (not postage stamps)

Nice layout.

Solid and enjoyable course… unique presentation hole to hole, great opportunities for lefties!…pleasant day.

Booked an 11.00 tee time, got there at 9.30 thinking we were off at 10.00. Starter said he’d try and get us out as soon as possible but unfortunately didn’t get off until just before 11.00. He did keep apologising but nothing he could do it was a steady stream of fours and all 2s were paired up already..

Course was in good shape greens quick and true, we were paired up with a chap from Canada and a guy from Pittsburg, but now based in Orlando. Both were great company.

After the round me and my wife retired to the bar for a cold beer and some crab cakes, all good. Watched the end of the Bay Hill with Denny the bar man and a local called Dave. Then a couple of members came in who we’d played with when we were over in October, so playing it again next Sunday as Guests.

Teed at 7:40am and had group of 16 racked up behind us. We played with a couple that are club members that were seniors and they were pushed by the group and ranger. Hurry golf is not

Inflated price for the course but that’s Florida in March. This course in Michigan would be $49.00 during the season. A nice track with some good elevation changes for Florida. It’s worth the play but you’d better keep pace.

Course was in good shape for time of year. Greens were fast but rolled well. Lots of sand in fairways and around greens but bunkers were in good condition with rakes available. Fairways were tight but normal for the time of year. Most disappointing was the pace of play, particularly from 5 on with 3 or 4 groups were together of older ladies and gents. We teed off at 2:10 and didn't get in the last 3 holes. Did get a refund of half the cost because we couldn't finish. We would play it again.

We wanted to love this course. Many things to like. Nice layout, very friendly staff, good conditions.

But we waited on every shot, at one point there were 4 groups on a par 3 and this happened more than twice.

It ruins the game when the pace of play is that bad.

The pace of play was slow this day, but the weather was excellent, this track is a fair deal for this time of year I guess, I wish they would give Canadians a break, because when we get our credit card statement of $79.00 US it will be $110.00 Canadian. Courses in the Orlando area have gone crazy this year, and the other two tracks I played were not even worth $50.00, and they were around the same price as this. I'll wait till Apr/May to play in the Orlando area again maybe the prices might come down.
