About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

The course is amazing except the greens. There is two different types of grass growing on the greens. They have done a good job of keeping them somewhat smooth but hitting a different patch of grass clearly affected the rolls on some putts. Everything else about the course was amazing but for the price you expect a little nicer greens.
Disappointing
Cons:
The pace of play isn't great
The range balls are pricey
The greens were extremely patchy (but they are being punched soon)

The course is always in good shape. The staff is always exceptional. The greens are expected to be fast and they are.
Looking and playing great
I've always enjoyed playing this track. Everything was looking good and in great condition, even the rough.
Little slow but WELL worth it!!!
Ice cold water almost every hole, saw Cart Girl 6 times throughout the round, course in Sawgrass condition and staff was super friendly!
Only con tee times a little too close together, especially when cart path only on 4-5 holes.

Course was outstanding as well as the stall. Very organized and professional. Highly recomend this course .
Excellent Course
Very interesting course. Condition was excellent. Only problem was backup on almost every hole on back nine, causing us to wait for most shots. I would definitely play this course again.
Great layout
Great condition, friendly staff, and fast greens. Well worth a try if you are in the area.
Quality
Best shape course in the area, the price is a little to high. Normal pace of play is really slow because of the walkers but today it was great about 4 hours exactly. The greens need to be re-done and they are working on that soon
