St. Johns Golf & Country Club

This is a very good layout for the average (me) golfer. A good mix of challenging and makeable holes. Always fun to play.

Really Enjoyed. Greens are fast, but fair. Weather turned out beautiful!

As a snowbird SJG & CC is always the first course we play when we get to Saint Augustine

Conditions good, layout challenging. pace of play, not good at all. I asked when I was in the pro shop if there was a marshall on the course and was told yes. We teed off on time only to realize that there was a fivesome in front of us and they were waiting on every shot. After four holes the fivesome changed to a foursome but nothing else changed. Had to wait on every shot. Never seen the marshall untill hole 16. Barely finished with enough light left in the day. This is not the first time that this has happened. Nice course if you do not mind a 5 hour round.

We played St. John’s on our recent vacation. The course was in great shape and pace of play was just right. The greens were the most challenging aspect as they were so fast and hard to read. Really great course for everyone!

Played on a nice sunny March day in afternoon. Pace was decent (4hrs cart) and course was fun. Greens were a little crusty and patchy but rolled well enough for this time of year. Pretty good lies in fairway, esp if rolling around. Def seemed like best value in area for a good course in ok condition.

This is a good layout for any level of golf. It is winter so the fairways and greens show the affects of chilly weather. Always fun to play.

Greens were slower than in times past, but still in really good shape.

A course well worth playing! Great layout in great shape exept the greens. I was told that the greens will be completely redone next ur they rolled fine just not appealing to look at. Its a true jem

White tees played long. Very fair course but can bite you if any wind.

Just pretty good….obviously sees a ton of play. Great layout. They had a starter, but pace was very slow for a Monday. 5.5 hour round. No one there to tell the groups to speed up I guess. Unfortunately someone in front of us was dragging their feet on the greens causing damage. The greens were some of the fastest around and in GOOD shape..not excellent. The holes were fuzzy around them and needed relocating yesterday lol. The fairways had soooo …many untended divots. Golfers not using the sand provided, but the course should go around and take care of a few as well. Probably better in summer. Worth 50-60$ right now in my opinion.

Even before playing the course, you are impressed with the staff - they are all friendly and helpful. It starts you off in a good frame of mind. We like the course layout and have played there many times while staying in the area each winter. The fairways are generous and the course in very good condition for the time of year. The greens were lightning fast but are true.

Really nice facility and a solid layout. Tough course even tougher with ridiculously fast greens. This is on my 'once in awhile' list.

Nice layout, but greens are crazy fast. Better hope you’re putting uphill.
