St. Johns Golf & Country Club

Enjoyable round, challenging greens which are super fast. Played with locals who gave us pointers as the course was very good.

We play the course often on our annual trip to the area. For the time of year, the course was in very good condition and the grass was still petty green. The greens were lightning fast, and it took several holes to adjust to the speed. The group in front of us was a bit slow so we waited on most every shot but still finished only 10 minutes behind schedule as shown on the GPS. The new carts are very nice with GPS visuals of the course with yardages which speeds club selection. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure to play where your patronage is appreciated.

Looking forward to when the greens and other grasses come in.

I liked everything, however there were 4 slow walkers in front of us, nobody on the staff did a thing to speed them up. What tissed me off the most is my cart TV kept saying that I was behind and should pick up my pace of play.

This is a very nice course. If I were it complain it would only be that they had previously sanded the greens (which is a necessity). So other than that it is a pleasure to play there.

The course was in very good shape. 4 holes were cart path only due to wet conditions. The greens were firm and very fast! It was difficult to get the ball to stop at the hole. The course was challenging but generally fair other than the speed of the greens. Downhill putts were almost impossible to stop. It is a course that I would play again.

Very nice course. But beware about green speed specially from northern part, north of Ohio golfers.

Not kiddin. 5 times faster.

Even 10 ft putting, I was afraid to touch a ball.

Looks like ball stops but keep rolling and never stop, passed a hole, finally the ball stopped 10ft away again.

I got understand why PGA pro golfers had 4 , 5 puttings. It's fun. New experience.
