St. Johns Golf & Country Club
About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

Nice course but a lacking clubhouse
Really enjoyed playing this challenging course. It was in great condition.
My only issue is that there is a inadequate shower in the Men's locker room and no shower at all in the women's locker room. It's 2022, already.
FYI, it gets hot in Florida.
One of My Favorites in the Area
I have played St Johns G&CC on many occasions and it remains one of my favorites in the area. Course always is in good condition, the staff is friendly, and the course is a good test without being too difficult. I took a friend, who's new to the area, to play and it was his first visit. He loved the course and will be playing it again soon.
Great course
Course layout was fun and challenging. Tee to green the place was in great shape
Boys Trip
There were several things I liked about your course overall. We got there early and had a great lunch in the restaurant beside the Pro Shop. The food was excellent, as was the service! The range was very good also. The course, itself, was challenging enough with tighter fairways and as every Florida golf course can attest, lots of well placed sand bunkers and water. Recommend playing the blue tees unless you are a scratch golfer. Nice course layout and design. Have it 4/5 stars overall.
Great course nice value will be back. Carbondale CO
Nice
Overall good condition. Some dry and burnt areas on the course but not bad.
Incredible
I am down here visiting family and decided to take a trip up to St John’s. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We were immediately greeted with a cart, and the staff inside the pro shop was very nice. Excellent range and practice area for before the round that is a must to utilize. The course itself was great. Extremely well maintained with no swampy spots or dead grass. The greens were pure as can be and rolled right on the line you put them on. Pace of play was great for a weekend, we weren’t rushed and didn’t have to wait on one hole. The course was challenging but fair, even playing from the tips it was wide enough to keep the ball in play easily. This is one I’ll definitely be returning to!
Play here
Great layout and wide fairways so you can go driver all day. I’m 55 and an advanced golfer. Played from the grays at 6000 yards. Could have played the whites but why struggle all day when it’s my 3rd round all year. Wife and I had a great round.
Waste of Money
There was absolutely no drinking water on the course. Pace of play was ridiculous. Cart girls take too long to help people
Nice course
Slow play, otherwise great course layout and excellent conditions. Very fast but true greens.
Top Notch
One of the better courses in Jacksonville. I don't play a lot of premiere courses but this has to easily be a top 10.
Great, challenging course
First time on this course and it didn’t disappoint. Nicely laid out and well kept up.
