St. Johns Golf & Country Club
About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

Big greens
Nice course but for the money should have more to offer. No pencil to keep score, no map of course on score card. Cart girl only came around twice even though she was tipped very well. For fare of $100 not worth it but if it was cheaper I’d play there again.

4 hrs and 50 minutes for 18 holes
Course is running groups off the front and back + over booking tee times in general. It’s a real shame when you show up and have to wait 20 minutes for a cart. Then you wait on every single hole and a Saturday afternoon round takes almost 5 hours to play.
This is a great course and the greens are in fantastic shape but I will not return to play on the weekend until they get their tee times under control.
Be prepared to wait if you intend to play here on the weekend.
Great!
I have now played the majority of golf courses around Jacksonville that are available via GolfNow. This is easily the best course and the one I would like to play again
Really nice course, super layout
A cool sunny day for our foursome. My second time playing, their first. We loved the layout with plenty of challenges on each hole, putting a premium on playing target golf. The greens play fast and fair, with two complaints, one for my fellow golfers who drag their shoes creating a good deal of spike marks, and to the greens staff, the edges of the many holes were ragged, not clean. The cart girl and the clubhouse provided very good service (the blue cheese potato chips provided a nice ending)!
February Golf
Great Day, Great Staff, Great Time. Course could use a little rain, but it’s a great track, that’s why I play there.

Great Course
I really like this course. It is always in great condition. Always well maintained. The greens are slippery. Overall the course is challenging but playable. The staff is friendly. However, it does get a lot of play so, as a nonmember, booking a tee time is a challenge.
Will Play Again
Course was in good shape, greens are fast. I would highly recommend this course with the caveat that it cam get crowded and backed up. Yesterday we had a winter frost and course opening was delayed 1 hour. So while that is unfortunate no one really is to blame. However, I did play with 2 regulars who live close by and are very familiar with the course and their only knock or concern with the course is that it is for a 5 hour round is not unusual, sometimes a little longer (we were just under 5 after the 1 hour tee time delay). That being said, I will go back to play there again, and that is the best thing I can say about any establishment.
Beautiful course
Husband says too much water, only because he was in most of them
Nice challenge
This course was at times narrow, lots of water but fun to play. The pace was a bit slow for not being very crowded at 1 pm. Also, pricey for the average round if not for TeeTimes. Other than that, a nice gem in the neighborhood !!
