About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

Excellent conditions
I was impressed with the greens, especially considering how much play they have gotten over the last 6 months. Greens were super fast and a treat to play.
Very Enjoyable Day
Enjoyed my day at St Johns, beautiful clubhouse,, nice golf course,, and practice facility., all in good condition. Played with a member (Billy) who was most welcoming and a wonderful ambassador for the club.
Very nice golf course
We played an afternoon round when the wind was pretty strong and still played in 4:15, which is very good. I would have given the condition of the course 4 and 1/2 stars but that option was not available. Greens were great, fairways nice and most tee boxes were good. Lots of water, handicap rating for the tees is accurate.
I hope to return soon as this is one of the finest facilities I have found in the area.
Dry playable
Course was in great shape. Only downside was waiting for a cart. Facility has a huge shortfall of not having enough carts and was held up because a cart ran out of juice on the second round
Great course - be nice to lower prices
Nice course in good shape. Flat, challenging, good mix of sand, water, and open fairways. Greens were large. I felt like it cost more than it should.
Great Course
Great round of golf. Never caught the group ahead, and never saw a group behind. Sunshine all day. Fast greens!
The course is extemely fair. Lots of grass to catch stray shots.
Great golf course. Conditions were ideal. Greens were a bit sandy but rolled true.
Enjoyable track
Very nice course. Greens are fast and true. Keep it in the fairway or your ball will end up in a hazard. Some shots that you don’t think are that bad roll off the mounding into trouble.
St John GCC
Excellent. extremely surprised to see course so well maintained based on the number of rounds they have. Greens quick but rolled true and fairways in great shape.
North Florida Gem
Beautiful course. Tree lined fairways, doesn’t feel like Florida resort golf. Lightning quick greens. Well maintained fairways and tee boxes. A little hard around the edges because it gets a ton of play. A couple challenging long par threes. Great course.
Some of the better greens in town
Golf course is in pretty good shape, considering it is February, and played fast. Fairways are firm so you get some roll and the greens are pretty quick. Definitely have to be careful when putting from above the hole. Also got around in a little over four hours even though the course seemed pretty full.
