About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

Top Notch
One of the better courses in Jacksonville. I don't play a lot of premiere courses but this has to easily be a top 10.
Great, challenging course
First time on this course and it didn’t disappoint. Nicely laid out and well kept up.
Great par 3’s
I enjoyed playing this course and I especially liked the challenge of the par 3’s. I hit good tee shots on all four of them!
Good, fun golf
Good, fun course. Not too challenging, but a couple of good water holes. Greens are firm and fair. Winds around a neighborhood, so nice views. Had a career low 12 putts on the front nine, so fair pin placements.
Plenty of wildlife. We saw a hawk pick a fish out of the water…cart lady was kind enough to warn us about a moccasin on the next tee box. It’s his home, not ours.
Pace was slow for a Monday and only saw the ranger once. Had to pay extra for range balls that clearly had seen their day. Would be nice if they were set up on the range and free.
Beautiful bar, dining area! Gorgeous views from clubhouse. Am playing again tomorrow. Great value for the money.
If I lived here, I’d join the club, as I’m currently a Club Corp. member.

Great value
Visiting for spring break and was able to find on golf now. You'll love the course if you love fast greens. Layout is very fair with some challenging approach shots.
Great round at St Johns
Excellent played with John the greens keeper who was great fun and excellent company and a member.

All good, only drawback was the greens were just sanded, putting was bad
Nice Track
St. John's is a very nice semi-private country club course. It has a wonderful range and practice area to get you warmed up. Fairways are in nice shape and the greens are firm. There are two challenging Par 3s on the back 9 and play can back up a little with golfers re-loading after dunking their tee shot. I've played several times and rounds average 4-½ hours. But I will still recommend and look forward to playing anytime I'm in the St. Augustine area.
Great condition
It's been a while since we played St. Johns even though we live close by. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were in great condition and the groundskeepers should be commended for and proud of their work. We were paired with two members and they were gracious and friendly. It is one of the best courses between JAX and St. Augustine and a pleasure to play.
