Chestatee Golf Club

Play here often. The course and greens are good shape. Even though we had a brief wait on each hole we were still rolling along at about 2 hrs a side. One issue is the bunkers have gotten really bad. Most of them seemed to be down to the liner or have more gravel than sand in them. Hopefully this will get fixed. All in all a good course with a decent restaurant for an after round bite!

Had golfers in front of us and had golfers behind us driving while we wer chipping onto the green! Very nerve wracking

This used to be my go to course. Not sure what’s going on there but the course was in terrible condition. Tee boxes were bare and in desperate red of repair. Fairways were tough with many dead spots and greens were poor.

For 80+ dollars a round I’d expect much better conditions. I won’t be back anytime soon

Chestatee was a blast to play. Windy conditions and but course is in good shape. Always treated well when we play. Thank you.

I love this course, just wish I lived a little closer. The course is greening up nicely, the weather was perfect. The Clubhouse has stepped up its game, an entirely new menu, they're taking it seriously. And Lauren in the bar/restaurant is the best :)

Very scenic and beautiful. Greens were in awesome shape! Be prepared for some uphill shots and can be very challenging on a windy day we discovered

I've played this course many times over the past 3 years and it is in the worst condition I have ever experienced. It is usually in very good condition but this time, well, it looked more like a highly-used muni course than a semi-private course. And it's just April 20th! Most tee boxes are extremely bare, and this isn't a matter of the bermuda not having started growing yet. Lost of bare areas in the fairways, again not just due to the bermuda not having come out of dormancy. The greens were not too bad, and were probably in the best condition of everything. I won't play that course again, not until it's in much, much better condition. I'll drive a lot further to play a better course and at least feel like my money was well spent.

Course not well suited to cart path only. Drainage is really a problem on some fairways. Some greens still in poor shape. Overall, still like the layout and have played it many times, just never in such rough shape from rain. Hope it drys out soon, and will be in good shape late Spring.
