Swiss Fairways Golf Course

Turf was over watered, to the point where my feet sunk into the fairway turf. Ground crew member refused to turn off irrigation until after we teed off. Said the owner told him to do so and he only listens to the owner. Forced to hit through heavy sprinklers which slowed down the drivers, immediately after the crewman shut off the irrigation

The greens were in poor condition, filled with crab grass and very uneven surface.

I have played this course many times, this is the worst experience I have had, I will not be returning. Not to mention they no longer have access to the back nine, had to replay the front nine to get in 18 holes.

Apparently the word is out on this course, only saw three other golfers playng.

Swiss used to be a challenging 18 hole course with a very interesting back 9. Now, no more back 9. an 18 hole round is to do the front 9 twice. Sorry to say that's not for me.

Terrible greens and unmaintained fairways with unfriendly staff. Waste of money if you ask me.

I played the course today very sad. I dislike giving out bad reviews on any course but this course deserves a bad review its in terrible condition. The staff was friendly and nice but the greens were like putting on bad grass and patchy weeds throughout. The course is listed as an 18-hole course, but only 9-holes are available for play...you have to play the same 9-holes twice. So you play the same bad holes twice. I would NOT recommend playing this course it has potential it just need Investment dollars to help bring it back to life. Good luck!!!

I have been to this course several times before and never have I ever seen it in the terrible condition it’s in! The greens were thick like the fringe of the edge and that’s in the spots that did have grass. I felt like I was putting down a gravel road. The fair ways we’re in okay condition. The layout of the course is good too very challenging. But those greens were just awful. Payed 18 holes and I left after playing 6 just because the greens were just that bad. If I do return to this course it’ll be a long time from now. Hopefully they fix it up.

I have played this course for many years. First as nine holes, then as eighteen and now again as nine. Still find it a challenge and fun.

Had a tee time but course was closed until after 11am. Fairways not well groomed, some areas ok some poor, ball didn't roll much most of the time. Guess they have maintenance issues. Greens were very rough and hard to get a good roll. Probably wouldn't play again unless I was assured the course was groomed. Carts are best gas carts I have used. Price was good.

Played here when it was 18 holes and loved it. Now you play 9 holes twice. No real problem other than it was a really nice 18 hole course. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The greens are getting a little bare in places. Still a good place to play, and you get to watch water skiers, That is something you don't see very often.

I got a good deal on the app and wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. I would go back for sure.

Always a good day here. Lots of natural Florida scenery.

AT PRESENT NINE HOLES STAFF FANTASTIC COURSE SO SO BIT DRY SOME GREENS VERY DRY, OVER ALL GOOD PRACTICE, INSTEAD OF HTING ROCK PILE

Liked the course when it was 18 holes Not a fan of just 9 holes. Seems like they are trying to make it better Don’t think I will go back with just 9 holes

The Staff was using BAD Words to us

even though I said “ I am sorry , I did not know the way to come to the first tee box .”

He said they did “ over seeding “ so we have to play first nine hole again - I did not mind playing the same course twice… and I drove same way to the first tee box as I did first round - - I was also thinking that the way I was driving does not seemed right … But I did not know there was a other way come to the first tee box … That was my mistake.

A staff walked me from the pro shop and yelled me that I was not respecting the golf course…… I told him I did not know that there were other way .. but he was shouting , pointing with finger and yelling with bad words…..( He sounded like I was driving that way even though I had known other way …)

He was furious..

That made our feeling so bad and it took all the enthusiasm and excitement to play from us …

So we gave up playing the 2nd round .

Then he came to the parking area and

shouted to us again that he will report us to

The GOLF NOW that we are the player who does not respect the golf course so on … when we were leaving….

We , as a owner who had ran a golf course in Orlando area for more than 10 years, know the rules and etiquettes how to do at the golf course .

and how hard it is to keep the golf course in perfect condition…

We understand his frustration but he was very rude to the customer who came to his golf course .Yes, it was a terrible experience for us.

It would not be this worst feeling if he showed me the way to the first tee box in more appropriate way who is not familiar with the course which does not have good signages…..

Hope he understands our situation ….
