Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

need lots of work
course looks like it is not being kept, example fairways have goose grass all over them sand traps weeds all around, and while we were playing horrible smell like poop.
under these conditions will not be back anytime soon.
Fun layout , great price
The course has a super fun layout with water skiers in front of several holes . It’s always a blast to play here . The conditions are what you would expect from a 20/30 dollar course. I suggest booking a tee time , not worrying about how good or bad you are playing and just enjoy a fun course .
Lady behind counter
Every time I play there a Lady, think she is a owner, starts lecturing to not start till tee off time, golf now people got reduce price so she likes to be difficult. The others I played with said that also. If she does not like golf now don't use. I will not be back
Much Better but still need some work
Course in some good condition, much better than before
about 3 hours round on sunday at 8:54 am tee off, very enjoyed the round.
Hot Deals Customers Poorly Treated
Since this is not the first time I’ve been treated poorly here on a GolfNow Hot Deal it’s time for a review. For some reason, the staff at Swiss Fairways despise Hot Deal Customers. When I arrived it was very clear that this was a very slow day. There were over 50 golf carts lined up on front of the clubhouse. This did not prevent the staff member from declaring “you are a Golf Now Hot Deal so you WILL be playing as a group with the other Hot Deal folks (fine) and you will he sharing a cart with one of these other guys. I replied but there’s over 50 carts out front and almost no golfers. That has nothing to do with it was the missive. Really? You planning on all these carts going out? That has nothing to do with it she reaffirmed. Ok. That’s when I remembered being treated the same the last time I was here on a Hot Deal. Furthermore the greens are simply unusable. Like, forget it. The ball will jump 3-4 times each putt and turn left and right. It’s normal this time of year for punched greens but these were terrible (as were the fairways) which explains almost no golfers. Imagine forcing strangers into the same cart during Covid with 50 plus carts and almost no golfers. Shame on you Swiss Fairways. I will take my business elsewhere.
lots of water and sand
4 hr round ,first time playing ,greens were punched but true. Water Skiers have right of way,Funny. Good Layout did lose 6 balls.
Good Value - Temper Expectation
The course was a very good value. Greens were in decent shape, but fairways were bare. According to a local they are normally green, but lack of rain had an impact. I was a bit surprised their was still no water coolers on the course. We rented clubs for $25 and they were a decent Cleveland set.
Swiss Fairways
Challenging layout. A bit of a drive from Orlando, but worth it. Given the drought, course conditions were better than expected.
Perfect for an intermediate Golfer and a Ski Boaters Dream
Played with a buddy of mine on a Hot Deal for Memorial Day! Fairways and green are in decent shape and fairways are long and wide for awesome drives. There are multiple Ski Boat lakes that make for amazing views while playing your round. It’s a course everyone should experience!
I played this course twice this week. The greens are a little dry and bumpy. Not that smooth. No rain. Course is still in good shape and very affordable.
Great people- pro Meredith is a treasure
Course is fun and challenging -staff - especially pro Meredith is a jewel- dont miss a beer and great italian sausage after your round
Enjoyable Day
Bought as a single as a Hot Deal and played with a threesome. Very nice group made the round enjoyable. The course was a par 70 but very challenging, with a few longer holes mixed with a few shorter ones. The practice green and driving range were in great shape. The golf was fun and the people were nice. My only real critique would be the food selection, quality and price. I had the Italian sausage with peppers and onions for $7.00 The sausage was over cooked, old, whithered, and tasteless. Vegetables were similar. Definitely not a good value for the money. I’d suggest a lunch combo special: hot dog, chips, drink $7.00 or something similar. Aside from the value of the food, everything else was great. I’d definitely play again, but next time I’ll grab something to eat before I got there.
