Swiss Fairways Golf Course

Hands down the best bang for the buck in Central Florida regarding layout, conditions, and price. The absolutely do not give one crap about COVID adherence, but mask up and prepare for a really fun challenge!

Very good course. Well kept. Greens very receptive. Pro shop has fantastic deals. Staff very nice. Little hidden jem.

Played a round this morning on a golf now deal. Price was good and I appreciated the no fee gift today. Got out before 9:00 and was driving home just before 11:00. No groups ahead of me and I played as a single.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Course was a bit wet after rain all night. Sand traps were tended to and had enough sand from which to play. I plan to return again on a drier day.

The staff was super friendly. The course was very crowded which was expected on thanksgiving weekend. The greens were very good The fairways was excellent. The day was a gorgeous day. The play was slow but we didn’t care. A good time was had by all.

I did not play this course for a while cause of condition of the course, this time tee box was reseeds and look good, fairways still need some work to do, I know they working on it!!! I read some comment about riding with other but it is not, I am riding my self but still pair with other threesome, I like this course and I know it will better!!!

The course was in good shape, but management was not very friendly. One of the members in the group who is over 70 requested his own cart and was denied due to a new policy that no single golfers were allowed to have their own cart and they claimed they were extremely busy and there were no exceptions.

Please note that the person was willing to pay extra for the cart and one month prior we played at the same course and he was able to pay for his own cart.

I would have accepted that argument except that when we finished our round of golf there were at least 15 to 20 empty golf carts and there were no one on the first tee box.

Additionally, there were groups behind us of threesomes and twosomes, therefore it was obviously they weren't extremely busy.

Great course and a great value. Cool layout in nice shape. Small greens but plays fair. Good views. Water skiers. Hang gliders. Good overall day.

My group has played this course many times. One person in my group is required to ride by himself due to health issues related to Covid, however, the course manager would not allow him to have a cart by himself stating it was busy season and they wouldn't have enough carts, therefore, he did not play. The manager was also very rude about it complaining to others in the group that he would even ask to have one by himself. When we finished playing there were at least 30 carts at the clubhouse! He could have gave him one and told him in the future he would not get a cart by himself. Needless to say, we will not be playing there again.

Does is seem strange that this place either gets 4/5 stars with no written description......or people hate the place.

They had just overseeded and the tees and greens were a little hairy but over all we had fun and really enjoyed our round. would recommend playing and will be back soon...
