Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

Swiss Fairways
They had just overseeded and the tees and greens were a little hairy but over all we had fun and really enjoyed our round. would recommend playing and will be back soon...
Fun course
Very friendly staff. Tee boxes being reseeded, so u must play secondary tee box. Once they are done will be spectacular!
Course is in great condition - highly recommended
I been playing the course often - you can’t beat the price.
The owner has invested heavily into upgrading and improvement and it shows. The greens are in great shape.
Getting There
Staff is awesome. Great layout and greens are healthy but slow. They just overseeded the tee boxes and greens so it was a bit wonky today but I enjoy this course. While other courses are overcharging this time of year, Swiss Fairways is keeping rates down. Give it a try if you’re on the fence. It’s getting better and the owner cares and is trying to make it better which a lot of other courses in the area can’t say.
Don't bother with this place
The staff here is just horrid, but that's the least of the problems. The over condition is not good, the greens had not been mown is days & were simply unplayable. I chipped on them all day because you could not putt them. It's clear that the owners have interest in providing a good golf experience... Way too many better options to ever do this again.
Hidden Gem!!
Great course if you don't mind the little things! Tees were all the way up front, unless they forgot to put them accordingly! Again, I didn't mind since it was a windy day! With that said we stepped to the 12th and the first guy on the Tee from 106 Yds PW, wind blowing, chips on the green, rolls on and drops in the it in hole! Hole in 1! GreaT shot Cesar!! Amazing day, greens are in great shape, rough is high!, I definitely play it again!
Garbage Course
This course was atrocious. There were no tee markers so just tee off from anywhere. The staff was amazing. I recommend the Italian sausage sandwich. Other than that, it was awful. The greens were decent but the fairways hadn’t been cut in 2 weeks. Good luck breaking 80.
Excellent practice course.
Excellent practice course forBeginners and very young people. Staff was very friendly. There was no one on the course that we could see besides a twosome at the very end. It’s too bad that GOLFNOW has so many limitations on these so-called reward dollars. Worthless.
Great value and layout
Great value. Unique layout. Consistent speed on the greens. Course knowledge is at a premium. Bring a range finder and drive up to check out blind shots.
Horrible course conditions
I’m not going to sugar coat this but the course is in horrible condition. When you can’t tell the difference between the fairway and the rough you have a problem. When the middle of the fairway is thick and large patches of crab grass you have a problem. When the tee box is thicker then the putting green you have a problem. When the green is as hard as concrete and looks like a slab of concrete you have a problem. I get it’s a cheap rate and out in the middle of nowhere but this course has a lot of good potential. It’s on a waterski resort and I’m not gonna lie the course layout is beautiful and challenging and fun. But the maintenance of the course is possible the worst I have ever seen. I won’t play there again until the course improves greatly and if you manage to do that raise the price to like $40 and just maybe I’ll come back and play there again.
Exactly! The 3rd hole was closed in the fairway due to water. And the greens were horrible. Lots of dark bare spots. They need a serious update of the course and if that happened I would pay to play there again.
Thanks for the update. The last time we played there, 3rd hole had a lot of water spots and that was early 2019, it was horrible. For the money they're asking - no way!!!
