About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

the course
course needs signs to direct you to the next hole. also yardage markers. and there were no rakes for the bunkers. a shame they still do not have 18 holes like they once did. but a nice 9 hole course.
Not really that good
The greens were patchy with many dead spots. The traps were hard and unraked. There were no rakes to straighten up the sand after use. This course is a shadow of the course it used to be. What a shame.
Beautiful day. Course in good shape.
Greens in good shape for time of year and price paid. Rolled pretty well and consistent pace. Fairways and tees had grass.
Forgettable
Thankfully it wasn’t a lot of money to play this 9 hole course. Shocking condition. Fairways covered in weeds. Greens dead or dying and full of bare mud patches. Zero signage from tee to green if you haven’t played here before. Woman serving in Pro shop in a very surly mood. Not at all welcoming.
The only plus point was that there were two lovely Labradors in the shop.
NS Golfers
Although course is a little rough, there are par 3,4 and 5’s, you can swing away. Staff very friendly.
No good golf courses
I was so shocked when the golf course owner got angry and ground his teeth. The golf course was not well maintained and I thought it was an 18 hole course but there was no guidance at all. I came here for a trip and was so disappointed..
No good golf courses
This golf course is a scam golf course. There are only 9 holes, and I paid for 18 holes, played only 9 holes, and asked for a refund for 9 holes, and he got angry and ground his teeth.
False Advertisement
No where is it posted that you’re playing 9 holes twice! Not to mention that the scorecard has different yardages on the back than the front. In other words, hole 1 and hole 10 are the same whole with different lengths on the scorecard. lol. The guy at the register was nice enough but none of the carts were wiped of morning dew! Nothing like a wet butt in 38 degree weather. Definitely has went down hill.
