Swiss Fairways Golf Course

Fun, challenging 9 hole course, water, sand and a tee shot over water skiers, what more could you ask for! Enjoyed 3 rounds in 10 days and look forward to getting back next year. Course was in decent shape despite the local drought, staff was friendly. John helped out selecting a few new clubs. Great prices on his clothing, balls and equipment.

Be sure to give Mulligan the starter dog a pat for a bit of golf luck!

This is a 9 hole course not like other, it challenge your game. Love it. The staff is friendly and very cool.

We showed up to the course and went into the the pro shop and were greeted by 2 very friendly people behind counter. ( come to find out it was the owner and his wife). We talked about all kinds of stuff and it was enjoyable conversation.

We had played the course before but the last time we played it was 18 holes unfortunately now it’s only 9 but it definitely didn’t disappoint course was in good shape and the greens were fast and true.

We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Thank you and good luck to the owners.

Tee times are 7 minutes and 8 minutes apart. Why would any golf course do that? If you put a foursome on the tee at their tee time it will take them much more than 7 minutes to tee off. Then they have to drive to their respective balls and hit a second or possibly a third time each before the next group behind can hit. You’re talking at least 15-18 minutes. On one of the holes on the back 9 we had three groups ahead of us after we finished a hole and before we finally got to the tee there were 4 groups waiting behind us. Totally ridiculous!

Got a hot deal, 9:00 two some , very few other tee times taken, arrived at 8:20, no one on the course, can’t tee off , owner makes us wait for 40 minutes for another two some to arrive, he told us “you got a hot deal, I don’t make any money on those you have to wait. “ this is because they have 9 holes and can’t manage the turn with other tee times, which there didn’t seem to be any. We finished 9 at 10:30 and left rather than possibly having to wait 30 minutes to start again. We could have played 18 homes by then.

Friends tee time 12:30 (booked directly with golf course). We arrived 10 minutes after them for a 12:40 tee time. Friends already checked in. Clubhouse wouldn’t let us check in until 15 minutes before tee time! So we rushed to get carts and load our clubs. It’s not like it was our first time there and we always respect our tee time. Staff very unfriendly and a rude attitude.

Unfortunately law enforcement had to be called as I checked in today for my round of golf. I never got to start the round due to the owner’s foul language, verbal abuse, and his chest bumping me several times. Apparently he has a problem with people that book through GolfNow. He stated repeatedly he doesn’t make a penny from these bookings, my response was

“that’s actually not my problem”.

Unfortunately, some people never change as anybody that has dealt with this person knows. It’s a real shame and his course’s destiny is sealed.

You know my expectations weren't incredibly high going in to Swiss fairways. Knowing it was only a 9 hole course. The price was very very reasonable so along I went. Joined up with 3 great guys Jay Doug and Greg .

The course is a little best up for sure lacking grass on many places. However the layout of the 9 holes was absolutely great. Some really nice holes for sure

2 and 3 in particular were great sharp.

I will give them another shot next week.

They deserve it

Very good for the price Golf in very good condition. Only has a 9 hole that tou do twice for a 18 holes, but that was ok for me.

I came to play here a day after a rainstorm, and oh boy was that a mistake. Hole #1 and #2 went okay without a problem, but Hole #3 was mucky and flooded. When you came within fifty yards of the water you will be stepping in mud. The remainder of the holes degraded in condition, with crabgrass in greens and weeds in fairways. Pace of play was good, never ran into another group, but perhaps they knew the course would be in rough shape after a rainy day.
