About
Heritage Harbour Golf Club (formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour) plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded wetland preserves and ponds. The golf course plays through spacious residential corridors, creating strategic risk/reward holes. At approximately 7,100 yards, multiple tees allow the golf course to be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The golfer who succeeds at challenging the hazards and angles will be rewarded with the proper angle for the next shot and an opportunity for a birdie. Designed by Arthur Hills, one of the world's top golf course designers, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is located just a half mile east of I-75 at exit 220.

terrible
My putting in in front of my house is 200% better the green socks and I have shells in front of my house how could they charge you so much for that disaster they ruined that course
Not what it used to be
Ever since the redesign, this course has gone downhill. The layout is terrible and makes no sense as the turn is in the middle of the course with no access to food or drinks. The carts have so many alarms and beeps that it disrupts play. They also overbook between the apps and call in bookings so todays rate of play was well over 5 hours. Unless I’m told it’s changed I can’t come back here.

Great Course Layout. Needs 3 months of solid rework
Enjoy the course. Play it every year. Unfortunately, this year it’s a little rough. Fees should be cheaper than full price but it is what it is. Hopefully they stop letting the investment firm run the property and start managing it for the golfer.

What a shame
This used to be a beautiful course. Have played it many times in last 15 years. To see it now is painful. The people working there are so great. Must pain them. Fabulous layout so still has potential, but many greens are unplayable. Fairways are horrible. New disjointed layout is difficult to navigate.

Good layout, interesting greens
Nice residential country club quality course - space of the tee, lots of variety of holes - elaborately contoured and good putting greens.

Pretty rough conditions
Green surfaces are about 25% usable - bare patches and sod implants on all but 1 green. 1 temp. Rerouting from original lost character of original course. Fairways bare and even washed out in spots. Morning rain slowed pace to a crawl. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really nice clubhouse/grill.

Horrible conditions
It is by far the worst conditions I’ve ever played and I’ve played hundreds of courses a couple greens are literally Unplayable Absolutely terrible

Worst course in all of Bradenton!
Haven’t played this course in a couple years and all I can say is wow was it terrible, tee boxes and fairways were horrendous and worst of all the greens weren’t even playable. Charging people $80 to play on dirt is absolutely outrageous! Course should be free or if anything should just shut down because it is that bad. 10/10 would not recommend to anyone.

Greens Issue
I've played this course several times. The only problem I have is too many of the greens are chewed up. They are working on them but it seems to be taking a long time. Other than that I love the course.

Miss the old course
This used to be a great lay out that over the years has had a lot of maintenance issues. The new owners have improved the conditions, yet some issues still remain. After the sale, the removal of the first 2 holes and redesign has left a lot of us locals baffled and nostalgic. It is still a challenging and fun course, and the staff are the still the best from bag drop to clubhouse.

A course in progress
Over the years I have played this course many times and for an average golfer like me I find it to be very challenging. I do believe that the people who run this course are doing the best they can with all the changes. Give this course six months to a year and it will return to a great course as it once was.

Don’t waste your time/money
Horrible condition, uneven lumpy patches on greens plus fairways cut so close plus bare spots everywhere! Waited on every shot the entire 18 holes……they should make this into some kind of recreation area
