Inspired by the backdrop of the Manatee River, Ted McAnlis has created the ultimate golf experience with the perfect combination of beauty and challenge. Waterlefe Golf & River Club is built along a particularly beautiful section of the Manatee River, complete with wide expanses of pristine marshes and pleasant coves. Don't be surprised if on the 15th tee you spot a family of manatees poking noses up for a breath of air. The golf course was designed with a great deal of time, effort and expense going toward protecting and resorting the natural environment that gives the course it unique character. The gently sloped greens with the newest Tifteagle Bermuda offer the ultimate in putting. From a lazy start on the par-5 first hole to the big finish on the 18th hole island green, golfers love Waterlefe Golf & River Club!

Slow play poor management
5 plus hour round and not a Marshall on the course. Will never play or recommend this course again

One of my favorites Sarasota/Bradenton
Country Club atmosphere with just the right amount of attention. Arrive a little early and a good opportunity to hit range balls and chip/putt awaits. Play the course from appropriate tees for your skill level (starter will attempt to guide you) or it could be a long day. Ample fairways help make for an enjoyable round. Some very scenic holes along the river.

What a cool course
The course was in great shape and the layout was challenging and interesting. Lost a few balls with all the water. The carts have the electronic range finders and layout, much needed.

One of my favorites
We visit Bradenton once a year, and waterlefe is always on our play list. It has yet to disappoint. Hardly a standard hole on the course always something to get you attention.
