About
Park Ridge Golf Course transformed what was formerly the site of the Lantana Landfill into a popular municipal course. Construction began on this unique undertaking in 2004 and the end result was certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The course climbs up to 85 feet, making it one of the highest golf courses in the county. It has a links-style layout that rolls across a variety of elevation changes, offering plenty of stunning views along the way. Such a contoured and hilly course is a rare occurrence in Florida. The golf course provides a challenge with some very tricky par 3s, several blind shots due to the rolling terrain, and strategically placed traps throughout but there are no water hazards except for one lateral hazard. There is also thick rough framing many of the holes.

Challenging course with elevation differences
The beauty of the course is the undulating terrain that challenges one to hit many shots without seeing where you are hitting. The grass on fairways in. the front nIne is very different compared to the back nine where is is fairly standard. But the greens on the front nine are surprisingly fast. The interspersed water bodies add to the attractiveness though they are not a part of the challenge. Some more signage to holes will be helpful. Overall enjoyed the course. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great surprise
I had a great surprise playing this course it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed every part of it the scenery is unbelievable you have a chance play the scores

Park Ridge is great !
The course has some very wide fairways , and also some many challenging holes.
Including some terrain heights and elevated tee boxes.

Decent course
Lot of blind greens due to the hilly terrain. Challenging course, pace of play was not good due to slow play in front.

Love this course!
Park Ridge is the only course around where you can experience different elevations and unique holes. I love this challenging course but I’d suggest you play during the week. Pace of play was not good on Sunday, lots of waiting.
