About
Park Ridge Golf Course transformed what was formerly the site of the Lantana Landfill into a popular municipal course. Construction began on this unique undertaking in 2004 and the end result was certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The course climbs up to 85 feet, making it one of the highest golf courses in the county. It has a links-style layout that rolls across a variety of elevation changes, offering plenty of stunning views along the way. Such a contoured and hilly course is a rare occurrence in Florida. The golf course provides a challenge with some very tricky par 3s, several blind shots due to the rolling terrain, and strategically placed traps throughout but there are no water hazards except for one lateral hazard. There is also thick rough framing many of the holes.

Greens are coming back nicely.
Greens are starting to come back nicely. Once all this rain stops this course is gonna be in tip top shape.
Friendly staff and challenging but forgiving track
Had a great round at Park Ridge this morning. Fairways were wet and it was cart path only. Course doesn’t drain very well but I knew that going into it. Had a lot of rain in the area last night and there were some sloppy areas in the fairways. Ranger Drew kept coming by making sure we were alright and giving us pointers since it was out first time playing there. Driving range had an excellent grass surface to warm up on and the chipping green looked nice too. My only complaint is the starter yelling at me from across the driving range that my 7:27 group was teeing off at 7:21. Didn’t get to finish my warmup. The course played long today with the rain and playing from the golf tees provided a nice challenge. All in all I am happy and will return.
Great Value- some staff friendly
Good course layout and conditions were good. Few blind tee shots but several really nice views as well.
Some staff were very nice- some were totally sending message they were frustrated with us being there- very surprised…. In both good way.
Used phone GPS/GolfLogix and it helped a lot considering this was our first round at the course.
The course greens were aerated the day before we played and we were not notified - and the course was sloppy wet - doesn't drain well -
A favorite course
We like this course, however the greens were recently aerated so give it a few weeks to heal.
