About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Extreme Heat
Considering that the course just finished it’s summer maintenance, the conditions were good. That, combined with the Extreme Heat warning that baby golfers avoided made for a very quick round. By the way, the carts gave a cooler that you can.pack with ice from their machine and fill with your water. Stay hydrated!

Course essentially straight up stole from me & after being an avid golfer here, I will now never return.
Unauthorized charged me a 2nd time after I already played and paid for my round a day prior. Refused to refund my money even though I informed them they charged me again after I informed them I had to reschedule my tee time (a week in advance). Absolute joke and god awful customer service. Rude, criminal, and absolute slime. You will be hearing from me.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Effective 1/1/17- If you do not cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to your tee time, your credit card will be charged the full amount due. Furthermore, if you make a tee time reservation “within” 24 hours of the date/time of play and need to cancel for any reason, your credit card will be charged in full for the tee time reserved. NO-SHOW POLICY: If you arrive on the date of play with less participants than you reserved, you will be charged in full for the incomplete party(s). No Exceptions.
Proper Golf Attire is appreciated and required when playing at our facility.
*A No-Show is defined as either a partial and or total incomplete attendance.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: If Atlantic National Golf Club is closed due to inclement weather the reservation will not be subscribed to any cancellation/no-show charges.

This course is a hidden gem!
Beautiful course layout, greens were aerated a couple weeks ago but still rolled great. Not too difficult of a course. Maintained very well, I was impressed for my first time playing there.

Greens were Aerorated

Greens rolled very well; very good value for price of round
I found this course to provide an enjoyable round. The greens were in excellent condition; rolled fast & true. The fairways were mostly generous but the layout provided some challenges for this 9 handicap.
The course had been freshly mowed from growth due to considerable rain but ground crew were busy collecting clippings & maintain course. Rough was not excessively long but fair & playable.
I joined 3 local gentlemen & had a most enjoyable time playing with them. I would play this course again.
