Atlantic National Golf Club

First of all several holes are by the freeway. Really bad noise, cars whipping by is not my idea of golf. Course looked abandoned, no restaurant just a person in a cart. The course conditions weee not horrible but with all the good courses in the area, I would not chose this one ever again

Played as a 2 some, a few holes in we caught up to a 4 some, so it was slow going, but not too bad. The ranger was nice enough to inform us that “ there was no where to go”.

A good course in all aspects.

A lot of dog legs and since we aren’t big hitters, the course plays longer than the yardage, since we have to play away from the water- and there is water on many holes.

We finished front 9 in just under 2 hours, stopped for restroom and snacks. When we were passing the starter heading to the 10th tee starter waves us to stop and tells us in no uncertain terms to speed up we are 5 minutes behind..

There was no one to be seen behind us.

Atlantic National is always a great stop on our annual Florida trip. The course is fair with a reasonable level of challenge. It is beautifully kept with a variety of fun holes to play. Stay out of the bunkers, which could have used more sand, and you can score here.

A good layout. Wind in your face most holes. Nice roll on the fairways.

The greens are getting away from them this week. Many burned out areas

Around the greens . Speed on greens is slower then usual

The course and the staff were great. If I had one thing to say was some of the greens were rough and needed work.

I always enjoy playing here…challenging layout and good conditions …greens are fast and true. A little pricey, but I think it’s a decent bang for the buck. I try to play here whenever I can

The greens were in excellent condition and quite fast... an excellent surprise!

The fairways were in good condition as well. Played the ball down with only a few poorer lies.

Off the fairways is were it was not pleasant at all.

A bit more love and care and this would be a regular choice for me.

Staff were very friendly.

No restaurant service though. Plan ahead.

Nice layout, good conditions, nice people. BUT if you give these guys your e-mail address be prepared for a deluge of spam e-mails for lessons and upcoming club events. I am fully aware that after I unsubscribed I may get spammed for only one month or so. But there are too many other nice courses in the area who do not shamelessly spam their customers that playing here is not recommended IMHO.

Arrived to my tee time 5 minutes prior to scheduled time and was told I was “late.” Tee time pushed 10 minutes which is fine.

Paired players wanted to play ahead and there was nobody ahead of them so my partner and I agreed. Ranger then yelled at us for splitting as we were “slowing down” the people behind us. There was nobody behind us. Pace of play was fine the whole time.

Snack cart was out of pretty much everything. No food. No diet soda. No requested drink for my partner. Idk why you’d send out the cart with nothing to offer.

When paying for our greens fees, the shop attendant said “I’m surprised YOU showed up…” with a smirk.

Course condition is middling. People fill their divots but the greens were very messy.

I’d accept literally all of the above for $40 or less but this was $90 a person — for what? What a complete rip. I’ll choose a public course where they’re relatively nicer to you and the course is in similar shape for less money any day of the week.

The overall quality of the course is reasonable. I actually saw an alligator next to a sand trap. The course does not have a restaurant, but the cart girl does sell hotdogs. This seems peculiar, and they don't tell you beforehand so you can bring a sandwich. For what you get, I think it is overpriced. Given its proximity to West Palm Beach, it likely will continue to attract a crowd.
