Atlantic National Golf Club

Everything about this course is great-except that they do not allow walkers. Very unfortunate, as the layout is the best for walking of any subdivision type course.

Pleasant course and would suit the average golfer.

4 hour round. Great weather. Solid golf course and will play again when in the area.

Couple of greens need some more time to grow some grass around the edges. Not sure why they were just sand but rolled true.

Bought a shirt which I rarely do on vacations but some great prices in the pro shop.

Look, it was delightful…only a few bad spots on a few greens, only a few bad spots on a couple fairways and the greens were generally pretty quick, pretty true, recently rolled, and cups well-cut. Pins were intermittently challenging and ridiculous, but that’s reasonable for such a “scorable” and short course. Plenty of false fronts w/ front pins…welcome to the real game.

Pace was fine, the houses build throughout the course were only *really* in play a maybe 3 holes…and it’s short enough, just hit a good 5-iron and shoot for bogey if you’re worried. The road/interstate is visible a few holes too, but not really in reach….not much to complain about besides the price, thus my 3.5 stars rating. This is a $50-course in Orlando, but a $100-round in WPBch…still, a fun round and the staff, bar and cart girl were top-notch!

Yes, it was not as good as the Florida club, but it was a good solid choice for our last day of golf before heading back to New York. We played five days

And saved iAtlantic in National for last, because it was fairly close to Palm Beach international airport and my three buddies said it was a good choice. Nice smooth quick greens and nice layout. Yes, the highway does get a bit loud for three or four holes but that’s not unusual down here. Even the Florida club had some road noise for a few holes. Some reviews say the starter can be a pain, but he was great for us. I don’t mind a starter who wants to keep things, efficient and smooth running. Besides, I dropped my head, cover off the cart, and when I came back he gave it to me with a smile. You might want to play winter rules in the fairway, but the tees and traps and greens are in fine condition. Unfortunately, no restaurant so we could not have a quick lunch before heading to the airport, but the cart girl had some sandwiches and plenty of brewskis. All in all nice fun relaxing day to end our time in Florida. If you’re thinking of coming down here, here are a few of my suggestions: the Florida club number one not too far from there is the champions club at Summerfield. I put that up number two…I would say Atlantic national might be a hair above Palm Beach national, but they were both very fun. if you’d like to drink while you play golf, Palm Beach national is your place and the sleeper is the links at Boynton Beach. we played 36 holes in one day for $100 because the super nice Pro gave us our last nine on the house. it was a good solid municipal course and you might want to play the family course which is 3 par 4s and 6 par threes to warm up your first day down here. Before before playing the championship course there which is a solid solid course in good shape. Hit them great!

Lol… one more if you were coming down… Atlantis golf club is a sleeper…. solid solid golf course with nice people and good food.. and it cost 10 or $20 less than the others.

First of all several holes are by the freeway. Really bad noise, cars whipping by is not my idea of golf. Course looked abandoned, no restaurant just a person in a cart. The course conditions weee not horrible but with all the good courses in the area, I would not chose this one ever again

Played as a 2 some, a few holes in we caught up to a 4 some, so it was slow going, but not too bad. The ranger was nice enough to inform us that “ there was no where to go”.

A good course in all aspects.

If you’re in the Boca / Boynton area check it out.

A lot of dog legs and since we aren’t big hitters, the course plays longer than the yardage, since we have to play away from the water- and there is water on many holes.

We finished front 9 in just under 2 hours, stopped for restroom and snacks. When we were passing the starter heading to the 10th tee starter waves us to stop and tells us in no uncertain terms to speed up we are 5 minutes behind..

There was no one to be seen behind us.

Atlantic National is always a great stop on our annual Florida trip. The course is fair with a reasonable level of challenge. It is beautifully kept with a variety of fun holes to play. Stay out of the bunkers, which could have used more sand, and you can score here.
