Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Great Conditions
Course was in very good condition from tee to green. Front 9 was slow but got the round in the twilights last gleaming. Greens were slower than usual but got out late in the afternoon so they had some 5 o’clock shadow. Great day anyway and will be back soon.
Beautiful course
The course was in great condition and well maintained... only issue was no signs for directions to some holes where cart path wasn't marked. Couldn't find a couple holes.

Course is always great; one of our most preferred courses. Play was exceptionally slow on this occasion due to the 4some in front playing quite slow (40 min to play 3 holes). They quit after 9 holes and play sped up.

Paint Drying Slow
The staff is very courteous and customer service oriented. The course was in great condition from tee to green with some tricky pin placements. The beverage cart showed up frequently. My issue was a group of members that held up the whole course. Four carts and not a one with a dram of courtesy or etiquette among them. Slower players must let faster players through. I will come back but hope I don’t have to deal with rudeness.

Always a reliable option
Arlington is always a reliable course, especially now when rates are high at other more known courses. The course has gone through ownership changes a few times which has led to less than perfect conditions. Now though, its in very good shape. Tee boxes good, fairways very good, greens are excellent although poor player maintenance has led to imperfections. Players don't fix their ball marks and drag their feet. Noticed this on previous rounds. Range is always in good shape but no bag stands. Multiple good yardage target greens and good grass. As far as pace of play, in the few dozen or so times I've played, never had an issue. Arlington rarely disappoints and is in one of my top ten florida courses to play.

Nice course!
My husband and I played Arlington Ridge and we both enjoyed it. It was on a Saturday, before Christmas and I think after a Men’s League. At any rate we played as a couple and the course was not busy at all. No one ahead or behind us until we caught up with a foursome on the 16th hole.
The greens were excellent and the fairways too. I was struggling with my game that day and only lost one ball because the course is quite player friendly but offer plenty of tee box options for all player levels.
The pub was very pleasant, friendly and casual.
Will definitely be back.

Good round
Pace of play was good , a little bit more attention to the fairways and greens this would be good course to add to my list. As an average player it is not over challenging.I like to enjoy playing not hate the game when I have finished.
