Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

In great shape right now ..
Enjoyable day for the most part. Polite, helpful young man behind the desk started things off good. Cart lady attentive numerous times during the round. Course in nice shape with the greens rolling really nice right now. Pace of play was the downfall of the day - just dreadfully slow. Started round at 1:45pm and labored through 13 holes into the dusk. The group in front of us finally called it quits and we blazed through the remaining 5 holes and finished 18 in the dark. The course is tremendously forgiving off the tee, which can be boring sometimes but it also takes the pressure off to allow just a fun afternoon. The outside service kid had a fantastic attitude and gave me a ride back to my car and genuinely seemed interested in my having a good experience. Kudos.
Great value, fun layout with challenging but fair pin placements. Look forward to getting back out to the course again soon!

This course is in great condition
Our foursome enjoyed the great conditions to go along with the beautiful weather. Very fast greens and fairway over seeding made for great conditions on all fairways.
My rating of staff friendliness is meant to be directed at one individual. The elderly male in the pro shop collecting our money is grumpy and quite rude. Sometimes a younger man works the desk and he is friendly as can be.
We had a rate of $29 + tax which made payment due at 31.03. One in the group was paying cashed and spotted .03 in a change dish, he asked if he could use it with his $31 and the guy said NO quickly removing the .03...tell me that wasn't a bit weird.

Not a good value.
Arlington Ridge is a good course to play; however, it is overpriced , especially in the fall when most Florida golf courses have reduced green fees. After the first of the year the price will jump to over $42.00 which is higher than most of the other area courses.

Great Course for Fun Golf
Weather perfect. Greens slick but fair. Fairways excellent. Really just a great day for golf in November.

Inviting place to play
My husband and I were paired up with 2 other golf now members. Had an enjoyable day. Good pace of play, friendly staff. Course was in good shape: however due to overseeding we did need to drive carts on the rough or cart paths...a minor inconvenience. We did run into sprinklers on a few holes as well. Will definately be back though Nice bar and restaurant for the 19th hole too. Good mix of holes.

Fun course
I was advised by a playing partner to give Arlington Ridge a go, and was very happy I did. This isn't the toughest test you'll face, and the fairways are pretty generous, but the course is really pleasing on the eye, and the conditions are really good.
There's food, drink, and practise facilities, so everything you might want from a trip to a golf club.

Another Round
What a difference from the last time playing here, great weather and conditions vs soggy wet layout during the rainy season. Weather was ideal and the course was in great shape, fast greens and good fairways. Found out the members had purchased the course so that was news. Will we come back, yes we will.

Arlington - look out on the greens!
We enjoyed another return visit to this popular course, which was in excellent condition. However, the greens were light lightening, extremely fast and difficult to read. Not that this is a complaint - merely a remark.

Arlington Ridge Golf Experience
The pace of play is excellent. We played around noon, and never waited to tee off or had any group behind us, The course was in good shape, and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend playing here.

Fun course
Worth the money. Tee boxes in great shape. Fairways are great not perfect but very nice and playable. I have seen them better. Greens were mint. Rolled fast true and nice. Sometimes pace of play can be slow but early am is good and mid afternoon.

Really great course
This is a jewel of a course, very frendly staff ,the cours is gettable a very fun lay out. the tee boxes are in great shape, and the the greens have grain to then so watch your putting speeds we will play this great course again.

Great Conditions and Value
Played here many times the last 15 years. Always been in great shape and a great value. Today was no exception. Greens, fairways, tee boxes were in superior shape. The rough is very fair but don’t get in too deep. I will keep coming back. I just hope the New Ownership has the same commitment to excellence as the out going owners.

Gr8 layout, gr8 staff, gr8 course!
We were out early (threesome @7:15a) so pace wasn't an issue. There were some wet areas not really suited for carts yet, but the price, layout, and staff made it with it. A must if you're within driving distance. We were done by 10:40a...
